How do I fix Frontgate retractable hose reel

If the problem with your Frontgate retractable how is that it simply won't retract, on the assumption that the hose hasn't gotten off the coiling wheel and become tangled, and that there isn't a problem with the hose distributor - which runs off a rubber drive belt, or some other mechanical problem, it is possible to re-tension the spring on a retractable hose. The principle of these retractable hoses is similar to the energy that is stored in the spring when you pull the starting cord on your lawn mower - which then retracts the cord when you release the pull handle. With the hose completely recoiled, using the blade of a screw driver, you can pry off the triangular cover on the left-hand side of the unit. You'll note four Phillips head screws which secure the round, black, plastic plate to the body of the caddy. If the tension is already "out" of the spring you can remove these screws and nothing will happen. If there is some residual tension remaining, the plastic plate may rotate clockwise a couple of turns when the last screw is removed (it won't spin like an airplane propeller, so don't worry . . .). To re-tension the spring, I used a crescent wrench and opened the jaws so that the width matched the gap between the two slots you'll see in the plastic plate, and inserted the wrench into the two slots (the wrench will be at a right angle to the plate, at this point. Then, while holding the crescent wrench in place, I used a metal bar, and inserted it through the hole at the other end of the wrench (for better leverage), and turned the plastic plate counter-clockwise five full turns. Then, while keeping the tension on the plastic plate, re-insert all four Phillips head screws, and fully re-secured the plastic plate. If the inner spring isn't damaged, this should restore the tensioning to the hose reel, as the spring will be further tensioned then automatically, as the hose is uncoiled - which will then be the stored energy that recoils the hose. Do I have to prime a 1530 John deer tractor after i replaced the fuel pump?

Yes, use instructions for bleeding after a filter change. See attached.

If primer lever stroke action seems short, bump the starter so the pump cam rotates away from the pump.

I have a Gilmour Model 2000P sprayer. The wand seems to be stopped up and will not spray. Do you have any advice?

You can trip all the wand down, but the blockage is normally in the tip due to insufficient cleaning after spraying. You can buy sprayer tips or complete wands. https://www.google.com/search?q=gilmour+XP30+sprayer+parts+diagram ..

Homelite gas edger cuts off after running about 10-15 seconds

The fact that is runs slightly longer on full choke may point still to a fuelling issue.. Does it actually Rev in those 10 seconds or does it just want to bog down and stall.?

Does anyone know the length of a craftsman part number 66054 link arm.

The Craftsman part number 66054 corresponds to a link arm, but without specific details or access to Craftsman's database, it's challenging to provide the exact length of this part. To find the precise length of the link arm with part number 66054, I recommend checking the product description or reaching out to Craftsman directly through their customer support or website. They should be able to provide you with the accurate information you need.

Fs55rc trimmer has no compression? Any help would be appreciated? Thanks

Suggest a cranckcase leak test to locate leak(s) other than rings. You need to seal the intake and exhaust ports and pressurize the crankcase via spark plug hole. No special tools other than an adapter from sparkplug hole to compressed air. The intake and exhaust ports can be sealed with pieces if old bicycle inner tube between carb and port and muffler and port. Then apply 5 to 10 psi to spark plug adapter. Spray case seams and shaft seals with WD40 or soapy water to locate slow leaks.Search "two cycle crankcase leak test" for videos.

Karcher K6.85 Pressure Washer. It won't switch on when I turn the switch on. The motor doesn't start?

Question edited for clarity. Use a DVOM to test the switch and the motor. The capacitor may have failed. Does it hum when you turn it on, that is a good indicator of a failed start/run capacitor. https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/brands/karcher/pressure-washer-spares/k6.85m-wb%20gb%20%281.397-502.0%29/ Help and videos https://www.google.com/search?q=karcher+k6.85+doesn%27t+switch+on ..

Toyota corolla 1.6 cubarator 1986 mix gasoline with oil petrol pump changed

How many miles are on the engine? Older, high mileage engine do wear out and burn oil. Gasoline and oil won't mix in a carburettor as there is no oil going into the Carburettor directly. If fuel and oil is mixing it will be away from the Carburettor. The first thing to check is the head gasket. Take a look in the coolant reservoir for oil floating on the top. That's another way of checking the head gasket. If the head gasket is OK it gets a bit more serious. There could be worn pistons ring or actual damage to the pistons or the cylinders.

Scotts lawn mower 21995x8b manual

I'm guessing you have fixed this or given up after 13.5 years, but here is my suggestion for the next person who has this trouble. If you ran it out of fuel and left it over the winter, it could have a drop of fuel that hardened and plugged one of the fuel ports in the carburetor. I have had this happen and needed to remove the fuel bowl and poke the dried film with a pin. Put it back together and it started right up.

Where can i find choke cable for 422707 model # riding mower.

Do not know what brand that is, but you can find choke cables at lowes, amazon .com. or any number of small engine repair shops depending on where you live. An after market cable could be easier to find and work just as well.
