HOW OLD IS MY MIXER
The Hobart A-200 is an 80's product. These first came on the market around 1985. There is no way to date the one you have without examining it.
The best estimate is 25-30 years old.
I have a Dash Everyday Stand Mixer 3qt.
I expect 4 years later, you managed how to do it :>D Your post attracted spam which was removed, so it brought your question back to the top. It is a pity Chef Andrew didn't see it then!
Spray all around the gap between bowl and base with WD40. Then use brute force. Next time, rub a little Vaseline around the surfaces that lock the bowl in place.

Kenwood KM300. How to fit new mains cable ?
Having done it the hard way (!) it is dead easy. All you need is a small screwdriver or similar, approx 2mm by 1mm in cross section. Looking from outside the mixer, where the power lead enters the main body, between the rectangular lead casing and the socket it enters, there is a small rectangular cutout (top right). Push your screwdriver in around 15mm, and then withdraw the lead housing with it - the screwdriver pushes the latch aside, hence you need to remove both as one! With luck, and a wiggle or two, that should be it.
The light is flashing on my grundig um9140
When your Grundig start flashing it's 99% stop position switch fault. It can be located in opposite side of speed control board.
You can simply open your mixer, remove speed control board and inject contact cleaner (or similar) directly to holes od black switch. I used medical injector.
Of course better solution is replace switch - it cost few dollars for ten. But in this case you can apply DIY skills. Nothing hard.
