I have a sentry professional quality/ 6250 safe I have had it for over 20 years it's manual no key I can't remember combo and I no longer have manual.

You are pretty stuck with that scenario. With an electronic lock you can use a rare earth magnet to pull the locking bolt but with a manual dial safe, you can't do that. I can remember my business safe combination from 1987 to 2005. You can also write it down. Use a concrete saw or angle grinder and cut the back off it. ..

Sentry Model 1610 Won't Open

Hello,

I am a Safe Specialist i have been reading some of your problems and this should help there is no code if you have lost yours only the default code for the model 1610 the default code is: 77,22,09,11,64 try that if you havent changed it and with this problem with people not getting the handle open with the green light happening i suspect this is a issue with the lock mechanism i have had many of the same problems with people bringing them in when you get you safe open it and where the lock is put some lubricate on the lock regulary as the lock sticks and wont open if you havent done this then you cannot get it open see you local safe specialist and tell them what i have said and they may or may not be able to get your safe open i hope this has helped Rob Safe Specialist World.

My Elsafe battery died (S30-705) and I can't open it! I wasn't given any type of key or anything!!!

You need someone to connect an Elsafe Servicing Unit to supply external battery power via the connection cable to power up the device so that you can unlock the safe. The servicing unit attaches to a 9 volt battery to rescue failed safes due to battery problem. Once the safe is open, you can replace the safe's dead batteries. Option 2: Get someone to drill the safe open.

Sentry Safe 1610. I can't open safe 1610. No documents with it.

Question edited for clarity. Although this guy makes it look hard work, they will usually bounce open quicker that this. You can also bang the top with a rubber mallet, or use a rare earth puck magnet to pull the actuator bolt.

Pilot SAE-1610 Electronic Safe won't open. Why?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Heating and Cooling. You can open it with the backup key and replace the depleted batteries. Then reset a new combination. All this type of safe can be opened with a large rare earth magnet faster than using the combination!
