Hilti dx450
I would not try to do this job your self as if you manage to put it to back together and something's not right it will cause you injury. would take it to some who knows what they are doing with this model.

Engine revving
sounds like the stop pin has been moved check on the throttle there is a little stop screw see if it is coated in muck and the part that the throttle arm hits the pin. someone may have moved its setting before hand. and now the problem has been fixed with a new timing belt the timing is right and engine is running smooth. if engine is pinking the timing belt is still not set properly and this is the reason for high revving. timing is to advanced. and needs reseting.
1997 ford contour gl
check the timing belt. it may have slipped a cog/ also check the spark plugs for colour and fuel on them from trying to start the engine.

Drive way gates wont close seems like they are not
check the supports check they are straight also look for chipped paint. it may have become out of line. and need putting back into place and bolted down. also check the pivot on the gates if you can jack the gates up then there is somthing wrong on the gate hinges.
After programming my cars homelink to the genie
I haven't done this in a while, but I think that you have to program all remotes and the homelink at the same time. I believe that when you reprogram, the opener code changes.
Try this and if it doesn't work, don't accept my answer.

Remove old clothes line from the ground.
is it bolted to a sleeve that was poured into the concrete? if it is, my suggestion would be to put some PB Blaster (i noticed your accent, so i will say this is an american answering. don't know if they have that in your country.) or other rust removing lubricant (WD-40, 3 n 1 oil) and lubricate it. it is probably rusted in the sleeve, and that would get the pole out. the sleeve would still be there though.
