I need to change Trane Weathertron Baystat 239 Thermostat over to Honeywell RTH6360D 5-2 Day Programmable Thermostat?

Question edited for clarity. Installation manual, but it has some very specific requirements. You may not have the correct one. The RTH6360 thermostat does not support L/A, S, or U terminals. If there are wires in terminals that are not listed, you will need additional wiring support. Visit yourhome.honeywell.com/support to find out if the thermostat will work for you. I don't understand that, and if you don't, you need a heating or electrical engineer.

I have a 1970 warm morning room heater 85,000. How to clean the u it and how efficient is it. Serial number 110323

" How to clean the u it " ?? Not sure what that means? It is 85,000 BTU (British Thermal Units), but highly inefficient as it is 53 years old and should have been scrapped 30 years ago. I had a similar one in a house I moved into in Dunstable in 1976 and it wasn't new then. https://www.google.com/search?q=1970+warm+morning+room+heater+85%2C000 ..

That would be a warranty issue, but wonder if you are reading set temperature, ambient temperature or 'set back' temperature? Contact the maker.

Replacing a 2-pole baseboard heating thermostat

Here at home where I reside we have an old school thermostat that has the mercury bulb that acts like a sensor, and in other cases it could just be as easy as replacing the batteries in the unit itself, usually a lid that hides them, sometimes it works
