Need manual for craftsman bench grinder model #
Mike Not sure what was happening when the previous reply was created, but the owners manual is part number 211260001 $7.99 at SearsPartsDirect.com That said, I'm staring at my own copy of the the owners manual and I can't really see why you would want to pay for one. The only really useful information is the parts diagram which is online at SearsPartsDirect.com. The rest is generic grinder information (support workpiece, select proper wheel, etc.) and CYA (always wear gloves and eye protection, don't remopve safety guards, don't use damaged wheels, don't stick your finger in the light socket, don't cross the steet in the middle of the block, etc.)
I have a sears bench grinder need new capacitor
If you take that capacitor to a hardware, Heating and Air store they will probably have a replacement for it. The 10 Mfd and 250 WVAC are the main values and the physical size. No mater what the part number the main consideration is capacity and max working voltage. You should be able to find one that will work for you.

Chainsaw oil do not lubricate
It's probably clogged up. Empty the oil out and blow it out with compressed air. Make sure you use oil designed for the purpose.
Bench grinder starts but don't move
It sounds like the motor is burnt out. If the case can be opened, unplug it and check around for signs of too much heat, especially at any wire connections. You may be able to resolder or replace a wire to fix it

Who makes Popular Mechanics Tools?
What information can you recover? The MFD rating is important. If you can take a picture of the wrecked one that could help. The capacitor will either be a run capacitor or a starting capacitor and the difference is important. The packaging of the capacitor is often a clue. Usually starting caps are in black phenolic tubes. Usually run capacitors are in metal cases. If the rating is 15MFD or less, the capacitor is likely a run capacitor.

The grinder does not turn.
Possibly has a blown seal from operating at too high a PSI letting the air leak out and not directing it towards where it needs to be to turn the tool. It will need to be taken apart and inspected to find the problem. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.
Order not received
I am thinking that you have the wrong site to track the order. This is a technical support site.

Metabo die grinder vibrates realy hard when turned up. Is there a repair, or should i toss it?
Two things can cause this, the blade isn't centered or the shaft is bent from a fall.Take the blade off and make sure the center hole is over the shoulders on arbor nuts. To check for a bent shaft take off the blade and tighten the arbor nuts and bring it up to speed. You can email them http://www.metabo.com/E-Mail-Center.2032.0.html
The Metabo 3-year warrantyOur power tools have a particularly long service life. Since repairs are so rarely required, Metabo has developed an additional warranty for you - the XXL-warranty.If you register, the normal warranty is extended to 3 years. Prerequisite is the sales receipt together with the XXL warranty certificate that you can generate after registering your machines.
You can register within the first 4 weeks after the purchase.Thank you for choosing fixYa

New shaft for a delta 23-840
You need to check if the cost of the shaft will be too much and whether it makes sense. You have not indicated the reason for changing the shaft, if there is damage e it can be mended in most cases with the help of a machine shop.So check cost with replacement before you attempt.
Need part numbers to replace eyeshields on Dayton bench grinder
Your grinder is listed on page 3085 of the Grainger catalogue. The part number for the eyeshield is 00281.00 and the number for the lower eyeshield bracket is 00280.00. The right hand upper eyeshield bracket is number 25188.00 and the upper left hand bracket number is 25177.00. All of this can be ordered through Grainger at 1-800-323-0620. Marvin T.

Both wheels have a noticeable
Yes, the wobble can be fixed. First, remove both wheels and check the shaft bearings/bushings for wear. Make certain the grinder is unplugged and mounted securely. Try moving the shafts up, down side to side; there should be little or no noticeable movement. If there is movement it is a major(time and money) problem. I'm not familiar with what the shafts ride on. It could be, ball bearings(the best-long lasting, least friction, most accurate, but expensive), sealed bearings(almost as good as ball bearings, with many of the same attributes) and bushings(least expensive to produce and fit and cause the most friction. If excessive up,down side to side movement is present a decision must be made as to how much money/time you want to invest. If the shaft exhibit little movement; check if the shaft is running true/straight. Turn the grinder by hand while observing the shaft for bends. If none are seen by eye use a magnetic base micrometer to check run out(deviation from straight). If a micrometer isn't available; bend a short length of wire(coat hanger works nicely) with a small hook on one end and then put a pointer end on the other. Put a screw thought the end with the hook to mount it to the base of the grinder. Then bend the pointed end so it just touches the shaft. Rotate the shaft and notice if the distance changes between the point of the wire and the grinder shaft. Repeat for the other side. A couple of thousands won't hurt. However, any more and the cost effectiveness of tearing the grinder apart straightening the shaft must be considered. The most common cause of grinding wheel wobble is the wheels becoming out of true and/or unbalanced. This is easily cured with a wheel dressiing tool. The tool grinds the wheels in place. By gringing the wheels on the grinder they balance the wheel, true the wheel to the shaft and clean it of imbeded soft materials, aluminum, wood and so forth.
