Lynx Sedona Rottiserie burner burns too hot - HELP! Checked the LP orifice. It is correct #56 short.

That is a nice unit. https://www.lynxgrills.com/products/sedona-by-lynx/category/grills/freestanding/view/30-sedona-built-in-grill-with-rotisserie-1-prosear-infrared-burner-and-1-stainless-steel-burner-l500psr The yellow flame indicates you have too much gas and not enough air. Just past the gas jet there is a tube called a 'Venturi', and you will often find they are partially blocked with spider nests. You can buy a special brush to clean them out. There is also an adjustment on them to add more air. Finally somewhere on the gas control valve there is a screw to adjust to amount of gas coming through. Normally you adjust on the lowest setting to establish a Low steady blue flame that is stable and doesn't blow out or 'pop' and go out. Reach out to the company.

I need a hose/regulator assembly # 80008860

Typically, if a product is discontinued, you will have much more trouble trying to find parts. You CAN ask the Manufacturer if they are aware of any universal parts that are comparable. I just don't think this would help you that much. I'd recommend you get a new product.

Why is my Weber grill burning so hot with orange flame

Orange flame is not enough air in the gas air mix. You have a spider nest living in the venturi tube and nozzle. Weber sell a special brush. The venturi tube is between the gas control knob and jet and the burner.

Cal flame p-5 bbq approx. 10 yo burner knobs extremely hot

Strip it down behind the knob and the venturi tube. You have spiders nests back there and the flame is pooling there instead of firing down the venturi tube to the burner. The venturi mixes air with the gas.

My Grill will no longer lift

I just had mine apart today because the cable broke. There is only one damper, in the left side where the pedal is. The other side is controlled by a cable that is strung on rollers. My cble broke so i had to replace it with one from a hardware store. I noticed that everything needs to be oiled for the system to work good. The gas strut/damper is inside of the lift tube. I would think it could be matched up with one from an automotive store. Autozone has a pretty good selection of them. But, The strut that is in the grill has a special end on it to fit the lift tube, you would have to somehow fabricate a new end or try to cut and weld or braze the old one onto the new strut. I have not had the strut problem yet because when I store the grill I leave it in the up position. this takes the stress and pressure off of the strut. Hope this helps.

My weber Baby Q grill has a low flame.

Agree with rjmbridge. I called the Weber support people and was told that there is a built in safety feature on the regulator that will cause the flame to burn at a low setting if the gas within the extension tube to the large tank and regulator is not allowed enough time to equalize. They suggested turning on the gas from the tank very slowly, allow about 2 minutes with the temperature control knob turned off, then turn the temp knob on and light. This worked for me.

I have a Weber gas grill, and I just replaced the

Don't worry, you'll be grilling in no time, if you follow these instructions:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF.

2. Disconnect the grill's hose from the propane tank and wait 5 minutes.

3. Reconnect the hose to the tank and open the tank's gas valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow Motion, slow).

Once the valve is fully open light one burner and turn it to HIGH. Has the flame height returned to normal? If so, light the remaining burner and turn it to HIGH. Do both flame heights look normal?
If so, you solve the problem! Remember to always turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

How do you recalibrate a CDN DTP482 digital probe thermometer ?

There appears to be no recalibration mode on this unit which is bad. Having said that, this is cooking thermometer, so the internal temperature of your steak being 130'F or 132'F isn't going to matter. My thermometers at work were calibrated every week in iced water slurry and the results recorded in a log. Here is the manual. Phone and ask them why? http://fantes.net/manuals/cdn-dtp482-thermometer-timer-manual.pdf https://www.google.com/search?q=cdn+dtp482+recalibration ..
