Was dogs for wounded vets program discontinued?
Program placing service dogs with wounded veterans told to vacate offices at military facilities. A program that prepares service dogs to be placed with wounded veterans was reportedly kicked out of its offices in two Washington, D.C.-area military facilities 11/9/17
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center issued a stop work order to the Warrior Canine Connection on 27 October 2017, citing patient safety concerns.

Are they dangerous to dogs?
Yes, very dangerous as are all rawhide chews. They also get lodged in their throats. We had to reach into our dog's throat to remove the rawhide. That was scary and we will never buy a rawhide product again!

WHAT WERE STAFFY DOGS BRED FOR AND WHY
Originally, the dogs were literally bred for fighting everything from a bull to a bear, including each other. The fights were frequently gambling events and fights to the *****. The breed was not recognized until a standard was established in 1935. The dogs are fearless and loyal. That said, owners who train them for aggression reap the result and the dogs suffer from the resulting reputation. I suspect that owners, dogs, and those regularly around the dogs would profit from training. It would not serve the interest of the owner or the dog if the dog came to consider itself the alpha in the relationship. Staffordshire Bull Terrier is considered one of the pit bull variety. It is a muscular, medium sized dog. It is not in my opinion a dog I would let small children play with due to its strength if it is subjected to stress by a child, however innocently.

Hi. My dog won't take his worming tablet even mixed n food. I've heard that nexgard spectre chewable tablets may be the answer as they are given as a treat. What do you think?
They work, sometimes, but if your dog is to picky it doesn't do any good. However, I've had luck sicking it in a small peace of hot dog, just cut the hotdog in to bite size peaces and act like it's a treat. Get the dog excited and doing good and toss him a treat with medicine.
On the other side,
I have 1 dog that nothing works on, not chewables, not hot dog. I have just open his mouth and push the pill back in his throat. For this I purchase the smallest pill I can. I don't like doing it, but if it is back far enough he cant spit it out. If you grab his mouth correctly then you don't have to worry about him biting you either. I do it with a full size Doberman.

Pictures of worms in dogs
Dogs and cats can pick up worms by eating wild prey. Or can pick up worms from other animals droppings. A vet is the best place to get dewormers.
