Dehumidifiers - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
Challenge ram 710 manual
Hello
I would like to buy a dehumidifier "Challenge" ram 710. Is there a possibility to connect a little pipe, so it can be runned for 24 hrs, without having to care if the tank is full or not?
Thank you for all your answers!

My comfort site dehumidifier. When the bucket is full
If water is coming out on the floor from your Comfort Site dehumidifier even when the bucket is not overflowing, there may be a few possible causes for this issue:
- Improper Placement of the Bucket: Ensure that the bucket is correctly positioned and inserted into the dehumidifier. Make sure it is securely in place, and the water outlet on the bucket is aligned with the dehumidifier's drainage system. If the bucket is not properly seated or aligned, it can result in water leakage.
- Bucket Seal or Gasket: Check the bucket's seal or gasket for any signs of damage, wear, or misalignment. If the seal is compromised or not making proper contact with the dehumidifier's body, water can escape and leak onto the floor. Clean the seal and ensure it is free from debris or obstructions. If necessary, replace the seal or gasket with a compatible replacement part.
- Drainage Hose Connection: Some dehumidifiers have the option to connect a drainage hose directly to the unit for continuous draining. If a drainage hose is connected, make sure it is securely attached and there are no leaks or loose connections along the hose. Ensure that the other end of the hose is properly directed into a drain or receptacle.
- Internal Drainage System: The dehumidifier's internal drainage system, including the collection tray or drain pan, may be clogged or blocked. Remove the bucket and inspect the drainage area for any debris, buildup, or blockages. Clean the drainage system thoroughly, ensuring that water can flow freely from the collection tray into the bucket without any obstructions.
- Check for Excessive Humidity: If the dehumidifier is operating in an area with extremely high humidity levels, it may struggle to remove moisture effectively. This can result in excessive condensation or water buildup that leads to leakage. Consider using additional dehumidification methods or addressing the underlying humidity issue in the space.
If the issue persists after checking these potential causes, it is advisable to consult the user manual for your specific Comfort Site dehumidifier or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or offer guidance based on their knowledge of the product.

Dehumidifier norpe keeps going on and off
If your Norpole dehumidifier is repeatedly starting and stopping, it could indicate a problem that needs to be addressed. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the humidity settings: Ensure that the humidity level set on the dehumidifier is reasonable and not too low. If the desired humidity level is already reached, the dehumidifier may turn off until the humidity rises again.
- Clean the air filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can restrict airflow and cause the dehumidifier to overheat. Turn off the dehumidifier, unplug it, and locate the air filter. Remove the filter and clean it according to the manufacturer's instructions. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it.
- Check the water collection bucket: If the water collection bucket is full, the dehumidifier may automatically shut off. Empty the bucket and ensure it is properly positioned back into the unit.
- Verify the drainage system: If your dehumidifier is equipped with a continuous drainage option, make sure the drainage hose is properly connected and not clogged. If the drainage hose is obstructed or improperly installed, it can cause the dehumidifier to turn on and off.
- Ensure proper ventilation: Make sure the dehumidifier is placed in a well-ventilated area. Restricted airflow around the unit can lead to overheating, triggering the auto shut-off feature.
- Power supply issues: Check the power cord and make sure it is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. Also, ensure there are no issues with the circuit breaker or electrical supply.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult the user manual or contact Norpole customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps or advise on potential repairs or service options.
