I got a nishiki anasazi bike and im looking for the right bottom bracket. The information the i find is a "square paper bracket". so im confuse about the rigth size.

With square-taper cranks, the bottom bracket spindle length required is determined by the particular brand/model of crankset. You can find the specifications online if you do a search using the brand/model of crankset. You will need a crank puller and bottom bracket tools to change it out. The main crankarm bolts should be tight, around 30 ft-lbs of torque.

What size is my bottom bracket for a Nishiki Kinzua 29 Men's Mountain Bike

hi if i remember correctly to size up for a bottom bracket, flip your bike upside down resting on handle bars and seat carefully not to damage anything, and where the bottom bracket go's through the frame of the bike you take a tape measure and measure the width of only the frame housing where the bottom bracket go's into this is a lot easier to do when the crank arms are removed. also on some bottom brackets when removed from the bike has all the data stamped on it depending on the type of bottom bracket. if not measure the width of the frame where the bottom bracket sits in too and that will be the size of the bottom bracket you need, then determine which type it is once you have remove the cranks arm which are attached to the bottom bracket could be splined drive or square tapered type bottom bracket basically the shape of the metal part that the crank arms push and bolt on to then match up on a cycle part website.

Schwinn mountain bike specs for bottom bracket replacement. SN: SNXDS16M34041

Serial number is of no help at all in determining replacement. The bottom bracket depends on the model of crank installed, which can vary even within the same model of bike. Take to a bike shop, post a picture of the crank and give the model name of the bike, or do some research at: Repair Help I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/donald_f2ed37026a3ac881

lots of bike repair manuals at your local library. That is how I got started 30 years ago. Bicycle parts haven't changed much over the last 100 years, the concepts are still the same, so just about any bicycle repair manual will give you all the basics. Park Tool manual is good, Bicycling Magazine has one, Leonard Zinn has a couple good ones. Barnett's manual is the bees knees of bicycle repair, used by professionals worldwide.

Denali GMC 700C Women's road bike wrong tires!!!

Can you explain why you think the tires are too big? Do they NOT fit the rims? What condition was this bike in when you bought it? If the brake pads line up with the rims then the wheels are correctly sized for the frame.

What size tire tube goes in a 700x28c Denali Bike

700c tyres are bigger than 26".The tubes you need measure 700x28 (to32).This size is used in Hybrid style bikes.Make sure you get the same type of valve(Schreader are the same as car,Presta are narrower)or it won't fit the hole in your rim.
Make sure when inflating that the tube isn't trapped between the tyre and the rim.Only inflate to the pressure written on the sidewall of the tyre.

Can anyone tell me the

I have the same bike, I believe the correct Bottom Bracket size is 68mm x 122.5, if you use a Shimano BB-UN300 which is also compatible with the BB-UN55/54 sizes. There are many Chinese knock offs for a few dollars less, but not worth the risk of premature failure. On a side note, if you measure the length of the stock spindle it’s about 124mm which Shimano does not make.

What size is the rear wheel axle shaft on a

The Schwinn Meridian Trikes use a different type of axle than others such as Sun Bicycle Trikes. The center of Schwinn & Sun Trikes are the same and measured diameter at 17mm, but differ on the threaded ends... Sun Trikes continue with 17mm to the axle ends, but Schwinn Trikes taper down to 12.5mm axle ends to fit their custom size wheels. This Schwinn tapered reduction in axle diameter may be part of the reason why Schwinn axles seem to bend or break more easily. It seems that Schwinn requested these custom parts size to lock consumers into having to purchase solely high-priced Schwinn wheel/axle parts. As of 2022, buying replacement Schwinn Wheel/Axle replacement parts is a real pain because Schwinn will not sell direct to consumers, will not disclose Schwinn part numbers, and Schwinn Customer Service tries to redirect public parts inquiries to "authorized dealers". The problem is most local bike stores no longer carry Schwinn bikes or parts and the retailer "big-box" stores such as Walmart, Target, or Dick's Sporting Goods will only sell Schwinn parts for bikes they stock or have sold to you at that store. After complaining, to Schwinn Customer Service several times, they finally allowed me to order direct from Schwinn.

How do I replace the battery on a Cybex 700R

FINALLY found the answer to this:Yeah, the manual isn't helpful. At all.I called Treadmill Doctor (www.treadmilldoctor.com) to see what they could give me (I had just gotten a battery from them). They said I had to take off the side panel, and then the battery was right there. So, I did it. Here's how.1) There are about 5 screws that hold the side panels on. If you are sitting on the bike, the panel to your right is the one you are trying to take off. The screws are located: a) Where the communication port is b) Around the "neck" that connects the display to the bike c) In front of where the seat slides d) At the bottom of the bike on the panel ( this one is hard to find, lay down parallel to the bike, and follow along the bottom, near the wheel, but a little closer to the back) e) At the back of the seat slider2) Take off the panel. It comes off, but with a little difficulty due to the pedals. I manhandled the back a little, and then turned the pedal so I could remove the panel in the direction of the arm to the pedal (i.e., moved the pedal up so I could slide the panel up along the pedal to get it off.)3) There's the battery, about mid way back, by a control panel. To get it off, there are two screws with nuts on the end holding the battery on. They are on top of the battery. There is a similar-looking third screw on the left side wall, but don't mess with that one. Not necessary. a) Use either a ratchet or turn pliers to remove the nuts. The front one will be much easier than the back ( mine was located on the front left and back right of the battery). I had to use pliers on the back one because i had no room. b) Once these two nuts are off, the battery will slide down with the screws still in it and out of the bike. Make sure you disconnect the cables.4) Put the new battery in. a) Remove the screws from the other battery, and put them in the SAME spots on the new one. b) Line up the screws with the holes in the spot for the battery in the bike. c) Put the nuts back on the screws to tighten the screw in place. d) Reconnect the wires. The long one is positive (mine was white) and the short one is negative (mine was black). Keep in mind that the battery must go in the same way as the other came out.5) Replace the side panel. a) Start with sliding over the pedal, then replace all screws to fasten the side panel back on. I recommend checking the bike by spinning the pedals with your hands once the new battery is in to check to see if it works. And there you go! Hope it helps!

How do you raise the handle bars on the bike?

If it is an older bike, you loosen the bolt at the top of the handle bar shaft until it is about 1/2 inch raised. Take a hammer and give it a swift bump and it should drop into the shaft. Hold the front tire between your legs and the handle bar should raise up. Re tighten once every thing is lined up. If the bike has front hand breakes these may need to be adjusted.
