I kenwood TK-2000 radios. when I read the radio, all the frequencies listed are vhf frequencies.but when I program a vhf frequency it says it is out of band it can only accept 400 to 440 mhz.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like the Kenwood TK-2000 radios you have may have been programmed with the wrong band split. The TK-2000 is available in both VHF and UHF frequency ranges, and it's possible that the radios you have are actually UHF models, despite being listed as VHF frequencies when you read the radios. To check if your radios are UHF or VHF, look for a label on the back of the radio that specifies the frequency range. If it says UHF, then the radios can only accept frequencies in the 400-440 MHz range. If it says VHF, then the radios should be able to accept frequencies in the VHF frequency range. If you've confirmed that the radios are indeed VHF models, then it's possible that the band split settings may need to be adjusted in the programming software to match the specific VHF frequencies you're trying to program. I recommend checking the manual for your programming software to ensure that you have selected the correct band split settings before programming the radios. If you're still having issues, it may be helpful to contact Kenwood customer support for further assistance.

I have two older Motorola Walkies Talkabout FR60 wont send or receive and a T5820 with the rubber broken off the antenna is is cost feasible to fix or not

I believe for the FR60 walkie-talkies, if they are not sending or receiving, the issue could be related to the antenna, battery, or internal components. You can try replacing the batteries and/or antennas to see if that resolves the issue. As for the T5820 walkie-talkie, if the rubber on the antenna is broken, it's likely that the antenna itself is also damaged. In this case, you can try replacing the antenna with a new one. Antennas are typically available for purchase online or at electronics stores. In terms of cost, repairing older walkie-talkies like these may not always be cost-effective. If the repairs are extensive or require replacement of major components, it may be more practical to purchase new walkie-talkies instead. Below are options of the options of walkie-talkies you can buy; ir?t=emerald014-20&language=en_us&l=li2&o=1&a=b071kjlcjv

Where can I find the frequencies for BC60XLT for Chippewa county, Wisconsin. Thank you.

I can suggest some resources that you can use to find the frequencies you're looking for. One option is to check the website of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office or the local government website for information on radio frequencies used by their departments. Another option is to visit the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and use their online database to search for radio frequencies assigned to Chippewa County. You can also try searching for online forums or groups of radio enthusiasts or scanner hobbyists that may have information on frequencies used in the Chippewa County area. It's important to note that you may need a license or permission to use certain frequencies, and it's always a good idea to check local regulations and guidelines before using any radio equipment.

Mic wireing for galaxy 73v

The Galaxy 73V is a CB radio that has a microphone with a four-pin connector. Here are the steps to check the microphone wiring:
  1. Check the microphone cable: Make sure the cable is not damaged or broken. If the cable is damaged, replace it with a new one.
  2. Check the microphone pins: Check if the pins on the microphone connector are clean and straight. If they are dirty or bent, clean them or straighten them out.
  3. Check the microphone wiring: Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the microphone wiring. To do this, set the multimeter to the continuity mode and touch the probes to each of the four pins on the microphone connector. You should hear a beep sound indicating that there is continuity.
  4. Check the wiring connections inside the radio: Open up the radio and check if the microphone wiring is connected properly. The wiring should be connected to the correct pins on the microphone jack and soldered securely.
  5. Check the audio circuit: If the wiring is properly connected and there is still low sound, the issue may be with the audio circuit of the radio. In this case, it is best to take the radio to a professional technician for repair.
It is important to note that modifying or tampering with a CB radio is *******, and can result in fines and penalties. If you are not familiar with CB radio repair, it is best to seek the assistance of a professional technician.

I have a 6 wire D104 . How do I wire it to a Ranger 2985 dx ?

Wiring a 6-wire D104 microphone to a Ranger 2985 DX requires connecting the wires in the correct order and configuration. The Ranger 2985 DX has an 8-pin modular plug, and the D104 microphone has a 6-pin modular plug. Here's one way to wire the D104 microphone to the Ranger 2985 DX:
  1. Connect the red wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug's pin 4 (PTT - Push-To-Talk).
  2. Connect the black wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug's pin 5 (Ground).
  3. Connect the white wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug's pin 6 (MIC + Audio).
  4. Connect the blue wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug's pin 7 (Receive Audio)
  5. Connect the green wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug pin 8 (Transmit Audio)
  6. Connect the yellow wire from the D104 to the 8-pin modular plug's pin 3 (UP-Down).
It's important to double-check the wiring configuration with the user manual of the Ranger 2985 DX and the D104 microphone. Some manufacturers have different wiring configurations and it's important to match the wiring accordingly to avoid any damage to the device. It's also worth noting that if you are not comfortable with the wiring process, it's best to consult with a professional technician or a radio expert.

Can a wireless headset be used with NEC SL1100 Phone

The NEC SL1100 phone can be used with a wireless headset, but it will require a specific type of connection. The NEC SL1100 phone has a 2.5mm headset jack, which is not compatible with most wireless headsets, which typically use a USB or Bluetooth connection. To use a wireless headset with the NEC SL1100 phone, you will need a USB-to-2.5mm headset adapter or a Bluetooth-to-2.5mm headset adapter. The Plantronics CS50 wireless headset is not directly compatible with the NEC SL1100 phone. However, Plantronics offers a USB-to-2.5mm headset adapter which can be used with the CS50. It's worth noting that some NEC SL1100 phones are equipped with a built-in Bluetooth module, which allows you to connect a Bluetooth headset directly. To check if your NEC SL1100 phone has this feature, you can check the user manual or contact the manufacturer. It's important to check the compatibility of the wireless headset and the phone system, before making any purchase. It's recommended to consult the manual of the phone system or the technical support of the phone system provider to ensure that the wireless headset you plan to purchase is compatible with the phone system.
