Mecha error
Mecha error is a Mechanical Error. This means that this is an actual physical malfunction of the unit. Sometimes pressing the reset button can realign some of the mechanics but most often this is a problem that requires to be serviced.

Reset a Kenwood 8070 without a remote?
To reset a Kenwood 8070 receiver without a remote, you typically need to locate the reset button on the device itself. This button is often small and recessed, so you may need a paperclip or a similar tool to press it. Consult the user manual or look for the reset button near the power or input/output ports on the receiver. Once located, press and hold the reset button for a few seconds until you see the receiver reset. Keep in mind that this process may vary slightly depending on the specific model of the Kenwood 8070 receiver.

My Sony CDX-GT210 has sound
Bill, did you ever figure your issue on your "no sound" problem? I'm having the exact same issue with a used car I bought that has this same stereo in it. CD plays and has sound, tuner shows its on but no sound. ????
I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't
- Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
- Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
- System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
- Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
- Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
- If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
- Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
- If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.
How do I order replacement accessories (remote, headphones, game controller) for the Rosen XR1020 overhead dvd system?
A few options:
You can contact the manufacturer, VOXX Electronics, by phone at 1-800-645-4994 or by email at
[email protected]. They may be able to provide you with the accessories you need or direct you to an authorized dealer.
You can visit the VOXX Electronics website and look for the XR1020U model, which is the same as the XR1020 but with a universal trim ring. You can find the list of accessories and their part numbers on the product page. You can then order them online or call the customer service number above.
You can search for the accessories on online marketplaces such as eBay, where you may find new or used items for sale by other users. However, you should be careful to check the seller's ratings, reviews, and return policy before making a purchase.
