Porter cable air nailer leaking
It certainly sounds like you may need to replace the seals on the tool.
The two main culprits are loose screws or bad seals.
Try tightening all the screws on the unit.
If that doesnt fix then you will need to purchase an overhaul kit for your model or take to a repair shop.
Since you did not give me your model #, Here is link to locate necessary parts:

How do I reset the service light on my
To reset the service light on your Ingersoll-Rand TS6A air dryer, you will need to follow these steps:
- Turn off the power to the air dryer.
- Press and hold the "On/Off" and "Reset" buttons simultaneously for at least five seconds.
- Release the buttons and turn the power back on to the air dryer.
If the service light does not reset, you may need to refer to the manufacturer's instructions or a repair manual for further troubleshooting. It's also important to note that resetting the service light does not address any underlying issues that may have caused it to turn on in the first place. You should have the air dryer checked and serviced by a qualified technician as soon as possible to ensure that it is operating correctly.
Curtis air compressor head release valve
It sounds like you have a problem with the pressure switch on your compressor. The pressure switch is responsible for turning the compressor on and off as the pressure in the tank rises and falls. If the pressure switch is not working properly, it can cause the compressor to run continuously or not start at all.
There are a few things you can try to fix this problem:
- Make sure that the pressure switch is adjusted properly. The switch should be set to turn the compressor on when the pressure in the tank reaches a certain low level, and turn it off when the pressure reaches a certain high level.
- Check the pressure switch for any visible damage or debris. If the switch is damaged or clogged, it may not be functioning properly.
- Check the electrical connections on the pressure switch to make sure they are secure.
- If the problem persists, you may need to replace the pressure switch.
It is also possible that there is an issue with the compressor pump or some other component, so it may be worth having a technician inspect the compressor to diagnose the problem.
(I need a new electric motor for my air compressor. Where do I find one?
I think I can help you guys needing a replacement CC-5440M12 120V/60Hz Ronning Motor. I have been cleaning out my shop and I have four (4) of these used electric motors. All work fine. They still have the plastic fan blade on one end and the metal gear on the other. I actually have electric cords wired up on each of them that I used to make sure they worked.
Thought I would pass this information on to you. Thanks and have a great day.
Why does my SENCO SCN65 shoot 2 nails at a time
If the trigger is worn out it can cause the nail gun to double fire. If the gun is set to bump fire and it is double firing in this setting then replace the trigger valve. If the nailer is set to trigger fire, then leaky O rings on the trigger valve can cause this.
Nail gun, stappler wont fire
Hi,
Please attempt to push out some test staples at different angles with your mastercraft. That is, I'd like you to rotate 90 degrees 4 times and attempt to push a staple each time. If it works only at certain angles, then we know that something has come apart within the mastercraft. And you've already applied oil on the mastercraft which is good. If possible, please swap out the staples and attempt to sho ot with the new set. Otherwise, I think Home Depot or Lowe's should be the next stop so they can examine the device and determine how to troubleshoot.
Thank you.
Problem with battery connection
if you remove the battery and look into where the battery goes at the bottom you will see the two prongs that make contact with the battery pack gently pry away from the side not to far but just a bit if you can not insert battery when done you pried to, far just bend them back until all works properly
Bostitch SX1838K 18GA Narrow Crown Finish Brad Nailer and Stapler. I bought a lightly used SX1838. Tested it a few months ago. Took me a minute to get it to fire but it seemed to be fine.
If your SX1838 is not firing when you try to use it on your carpet project, there may be a few possible issues that you can try to address. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the power source. Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the SX1838 and into a working outlet. If the power cord is damaged or not properly connected, the tool may not be receiving enough power to operate.
- Check the switch. The SX1838 has a switch that allows you to select between two modes of operation. Make sure that the switch is set to the correct mode for your project.
- Check the trigger. The SX1838 is triggered by pressing the trigger on the handle. Make sure that the trigger is fully depressed and that it is not obstructed by any debris or other materials.
- Check the nozzle. The SX1838 has a nozzle that sprays the adhesive. Make sure that the nozzle is clear and not clogged with any debris or adhesive.
If you are still unable to get the SX1838 to fire after trying these steps, you may need to contact the manufacturer for additional troubleshooting assistance or to have the tool serviced.
How do I take the pin out of saftey neutral switch 2004 monte carlo ls
To remove the pin from the safety neutral switch on a 2004 Monte Carlo LS, you will need to locate the switch and locate the pin. The safety neutral switch is typically located on or near the transmission, and it may be necessary to consult your vehicle's owner's manual to find its exact location. Once you have located the switch, you should be able to see the pin that holds it in place. To remove the pin, you will need to use a tool such as a small flathead screwdriver or a nail to push it out. Gently push the tool against the pin until it pops out of the switch. Be careful not to damage the switch or any other nearby components while removing the pin.
