Blinking 'Check Collector Cell' light

which model XL series do you have? There is obviously something shorted or arcing on the plates of the cell. look at the plates and see if they are laying flat and the wires are all still attached across the front of the cell. A loose, sagging, broken or bad contact on the end plates will cause the bad cell lights. clean off the area where the cell makes contact inside the unit. The metal strips that run across the ends of the cell make contact with the plates inside the cell and get their power from them, dirty contacts in any part of these contacts will cause the problem. Even a bad contact from the end cap to the plates inside the cell will cause this. Try wiggling the cell around, kind of push on it on edge to get the plates to shift slightly and clean the points where the plates touch the outer strips on the sides. Check for arcing with the lights turned off,

How do I remove the filter

Lancaster air purifiers can have different models and designs, so the exact location and method for removing the filter may vary. However, I can provide you with some general guidance that should help you locate and remove the filter in most air purifiers. 1. Check the user manual: The first step is to consult the user manual that came with the air purifier. It typically contains specific instructions on how to access and replace the filter. If you don't have the manual, you can often find it online on the manufacturer's website. 2. Look for a filter compartment: Most air purifiers have a designated compartment or access panel where the filter is located. It may be on the back, side, or front of the unit. Examine the air purifier and look for any labeled panels or compartments that indicate the filter's location. 3. Remove the filter cover: Once you've located the filter compartment, you'll need to remove the cover or panel to access the filter. The cover may be secured with screws, clips, or latches. Use a screwdriver or your hands to undo the fasteners and carefully remove the cover. 4. Take out the filter: After removing the cover, you should see the filter inside. Depending on the model, the filter may be a single unit or consist of multiple layers. Take note of how the filter is positioned before removing it to ensure you can correctly replace it later. 5. Follow any additional instructions: Some air purifiers have specific instructions for removing the filter, such as pressing a release button or sliding it out from a designated slot. Refer to the user manual or any labels on the unit for any additional guidance. 6. Clean or replace the filter: Once the filter is removed, you can determine whether it needs cleaning or replacement. If it's a reusable filter, check the manufacturer's instructions on how to clean it properly. For disposable filters, it's generally recommended to replace them according to the manufacturer's guidelines. Remember to consult the specific user manual for your Lancaster air purifier model to get accurate instructions tailored to your device.

I have a rainmate and I am tired of spending money one the oil scents. I like the spice scent. What other product can I put in my machine besides these expensive oils?

You can use vanilla extract or other extracts, your favorite perfume, other oils. Just not use anything with excessive chemicals, such as household products (pinesol, etc) Be sure and keep your unit clean, move stem that goes into water and use vinegar to remove any hard water deposits. It should last many years if taken care of. I am a Rainbow distributor.
