Sounds like the washers clutch is out, the repair of this type is more than any machines value. You can call a repair shop if still under warantee but if not just buy a new or used one, the repair will be out of balance & at best will last 18-22 months, but will cost as much if not more than a new value priced machine. :-) good luck.

I would first check the door lock switch. This is a safety devise that is designed to shut down your machine when you open the door. Now what I'm getting at is that your machine lid may have slammed down breaking the plastic part of the switch. This switch is like the circuit breaker for your machine. You may even be able to replace yourself. Good Luck Friend.

If water wont drain there has to be a clog

If the washer is acting as if it is getting no power, but you have checked the power wall outlet ... there is a chance that the power cord itself has failed. I found a reference to someone who had a pinched power cord that had shorted out ... resulting in the washer getting zero power. Carefully inspect your cord ... but the challenge is that you may not be able to see visible damage. Another reason for no power to the washer can be that an internal non-replaceable fuse on the circuit board has blown.

Sounds like seized . New could well be the next move .
