My 2 year old pushed the on/off toggle power switch several times in a row on our Ricoh Aficio 1035 copier. When I finally got to the machine, a red wrench light was on and an error code of SC990. It instructed me to contact service if it persisted. I tried to turn the machine off and unplugged the power cord hoping the machine would reset. Later, I noticed a different error code of SC863. A tech tried to walk me through some steps over the phone. We tried to reset the software. Currently, the wrench light is off but when you turn the machine on it says "loading, please wait" and nothing happens and nothing works.

fuser problem, push in order clear modes (yellow button) 1 0 7 and hold the red stop button for 5 seconds the screen will change, turn off copier red power switch and turn back on if problem comes right back you need a service call
Ricoh Aficio 1035 have two meter those are the electronic counter and the magnetic counter type but they are program to synchronize. to look for the magnetic counter just open the front door and you will find it at the middle and to open the electronic counter just press the user tools/counter key located on the upper left side of your operation counter then press the counter on the LCD display. Clean the fuser thermistors.For reset enter in the service mode : press total clear (yellow)key-107-clear(red)key,touch SP mode,open the front door and turn OFF the power switch.Unplugged the machine,wait 10 sec.,plugged the cords,close the front door amd turn ON the power switch.
Enter in the service mode Yellow key-107-red key,enter in the SP mode open the front door,turn off the copier,unplugged,wait 10 sec.,pluged on close the front door and turn on the power switch.
Please specify the machine model,in the Ricoh 1035 not exist the C210 error code. If your machine show CC201=When the paper jam condition is not reset for 10 minutes the code is automatically generated.For reset please enter in the SP mode turn main switch OFF,unplugged and wait 10 sec.Plugged and turn ON the power switch.
First, check on the left side of the machine to see if it has either a USB or RJ-45 receptical to plug your computer into. If not, the machine lacks the hardware needed to print from your computer. A Ricoh technician must install it at extra cost. If you DO have either of these recepticals, go to:www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads, to download the manual and drivers you need.
Not sure what SC818 is as not in my manuals please try the following.
Entering and Exiting SP mode 1. Press the Clear Mode key. 2. Use the keypad to enter “107”. 3. Hold down Clear/Stop for at least 3 seconds. 4. Enter the Service Mode. To enter the Normal Service Mode: Copy SP On the touch-panel, press Copy SP.
Once in the service mode turn the main switch off located on the left hand side of the machine wait 5-10 seconds then switch back on. This should get the machine working. Hope this helps PLEASE DO NOT ADJUST ANYTHING ELSE WITHIN SERVICE MODE AS CAN DAMAGE MACHINE OPERATION)
