I've read some of your replies to other answers. It seems that others have said that it should be pitched toward the outside and I would agree with that.
The other thing that I might be able to add is that a drain hole could have clogged up with debris or rust. Poke around in any corners (on the far outer side) to see if there are plugged drain holes. It would either have to drip on your neighbor's sill or it would have to be evaporated and blown away with the outside condenser heat.
Good Luck.

To answer your other question, Why is this happening after 7 years?
Many things change over time. You see one of them, dirt or mud in your tray. Another is corrosion, like rust, that also can accumulate. Insects get into things as well.
Good luck, keep me informed and I'll let you know if I have any other ideas.

You will first need to have the condensation line cleared (this can be done with a vacuum cleaner or a pressurized air source)
The pan is pitched inside the unit so you will just need to level the main unit to set pitch correctly(This can be done with a standard level and you need to level the unit in both directions.

Why would this only start happening now (leaking out the front side) after 7 years or so?
OK, but why would this (leaking out the front) just start happening now after 7 years - it seems really stable in there - and we haven't had any earthquakes lately. Thanks.
Are there some kind of adjusting screws in there to "level" it?
Thanks for the advice, we're checking for clogging now, but can't seem to find anything. The water is staying in the styrofoam tray. The other larger bottom tray is bone dry. We don't see any place where the styrofoam tray is supposed to drain to the other tray (and then to outside). Husband is now vaccuuming out 1/4 inch of caked mud on bottom of the other tray. Maybe that will unclog something, we'll see. Meanwhile, appreciate any other ideas you might have . . . . thanks.
