Need to change video display in Autocad running in DOS

Hit the "Alt" and "Enter" keys at the same time while in the full screen window. This will change the full screen to a window.

Right click the blue bar at the top of the window. Choose "Properties." Click on the "Options" tab. Make sure the setting is on "Window" rather than "Full Screen."
Click "OK." When you are prompted with save options, choose "Save Properties for Future Windows with Same Title."
Change the properties for the general command prompt. Click the "Start" button. Click "Programs" and "Accessories." Right click the "Command Prompt" icon.

Navigate to "Properties." Choose the "Options" tab. Check the button next to "Window" instead of "Full Screen." Click "Apply," then "OK."

Use the mouse to right click on a DOS program's shortcut. Choose "Properties." Select "Options." Under "Display Options," select "Window." Click "Apply" and "OK."
Open the command prompt or your DOS shortcut. Right click on the blue bar. Click "Properties" and go to the "Layout" tab. Under "Window Size," use the arrows to increase the height and width of the window. Click "OK," click "Modify Shortcut That Started This Window" and click "OK."

I FORGET MY IBM THINKPAD LENOVO T60 BIOS PASSWORD, NOW HOW I ENTER IN BIOS. PLZ GUIDE ME. S.VIRANI

Hi

Remove to your BIOS password download the CmosPwd, and follow the mention below instruction.
Typical Usage for DOS and all Windows users:

1) Identify your BIOS manufacturer (usually displayed at boot-up)

2) Start in DOS, or start a DOS session in Windows 95/98/ME. For Windows NT or Windows 2000 boot from a DOS or Windows 95/98 boot disk (you can find boot disks at www.AnswersThatWork.com), and run CMOSPWD from your boot floppy (or another floppy).

3) C: [Enter] cd CMOSPWD [Enter]

4) Type CMOSPWD at the DOS prompt and press Enter.

5) CMOSPWD will display a list of possibilities. Use the possibilities itemised against your BIOS manufacturer. Remember :

a) For AWARD BIOSes, use the Numeric Keypad (with NumLock ON).
b) AWARD 4.50PG BIOS always accepts "AWARD_SW", or "d8on", or "589589".
c) Old Phoenix BIOSes will accept "phoenix".

6) If the standard method does not work, then try to kill the CMOS password with CMOSPWD /K (and press Enter), and then see if you can get into the CMOS without a password. If you can, you successfully "killed" the old CMOS password. DO NOT KILL THE CMOS ON LAPTOPS!

How to install windows xp sp2 by using dr-dos

1. Check your BIOS to be sure your computer will boot from a CD. Enter the BIOS setup by pressing the "Delete" or F2 or "F12" key, or as directed at the startup screen, immediately after booting. Set the first boot device to "CDROM" or "DVDROM" instead of "hard drive" if it isn't already.

2. MS-DOS command prompt

Insert the Windows XP installation CD into your CD or DVD drive and restart the computer. When prompted, choose to start from the MS-DOS command prompt with CD support. The MS-DOS command prompt will appear in a moment.

3. Start SMARTDRIVE by typing "SMARTDRV" at the DOS prompt and pressing enter. You don't have to run SMARTDRIVE, but copying the files will be much quicker if you do. The computer will display the DOS prompt again.

4. Enter "CD I386" at the DOS prompt to change to the directory where the setup program starts.

5. Enter "WINNT" at the prompt to start Windows XP setup. The installation program will copy files to your computer and then display a message requesting to reboot.

6. Press the "Enter" key to reboot. The setup program will start again and check that your hard drive format is compatible with Windows XP. If not, it will guide you through partitioning and formatting the drive and then ask you to reboot once more.

7. Press "Enter" to reboot. The computer will restart in Windows XP mode and automatically start the Windows Setup Wizard to detect your hardware and finish the installation.

My AOC 17" CRT monitor displays large veiw on DOS & some PC DOS games where the top portion is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

sounds like you need to run a screen config wizard. If you have a true Nvidia driver you can do this. Otherwise, re-download the driver from the main website http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html
and it'll work for you
