It sounds like your problem is as simple as either a bent needle or a bobbin casing that is inserted improperly. First, change your needle being mindful of the type of fabric (and thread) you are using (e.g. Size 11 ballpoint for a light knit or a size 18 jeans needle for denim). Make sure that the bobbin casing is set in correctly, and that the bobbin goes in the correct way. (i.e. Counter-clockwise for a drop-in style bobbin). This should solve your issue. Happy sewing!
Thanks for getting back to me! Your awesome! So, it isn't a bent needle, and the bobbin case is inserted properly. I need to fix the timing of the shuttle race, but am unsure of what adjusts the shuttle race on the gears below it. Other forums said there should be screws to do this, but am unsure of which hex screw to modify.
