My TI-84 Plus Silver Edition calculator (borrowed from my school) has been freaking out on me. The day it happened, I used about an hour before and it was working fine. An hour later when I got home, I tried doing my homework and noticed the first column of buttons only gave me the sin function, the second column did not work at all, the third, fourth, and last columns worked except for the clear button, which only works sometimes. The whole calculator also sometimes freezes completely and no buttons work at all. Thanks for any help.

Hello, Press the [APPS] button. Scroll down till you reach Spanish or Espanol. Select the app and press [ENTER]. You are given the choice of setting 1.Spanish or 2. English. Press 2 then [Enter]. Hope it helps.
1. if you have a ti 84 plus silver, plus, or just ti 84, find a friend who has either a ti 84 plus silver, plus, or just ti 84. (as long as the number is the same)
2. link the two calculators together
3. using your friends calculator, press the [2nd] and the one next to alpha [x,t,o,n]
4. go all the way down to [send os]
5. send it to the other calculator and your problem should be fixed
my son dropped his and cracked the screen 2 days ago.Called TI no replacement parts.Spoke to the head of the math dept.at school he also said they have called for repair and no luck. Solution is we have to write a check to the school for $120 since they supply the calculator
