ASUS P5GZ-MX: Cmos Settings Wrong - Tryed New Cmos battery and setting time a date howto fix ?

It may just be that the new battery needs to be charged. I would leave it switched on for 24 hours to check. If this doesn't fix the problem, it could also be a failing BIOS chip or the charging circuit for the CMOS battery has failed. If the BIOS chip is not socketed or the cmos charging circuit has failed, you will need to replace the motherboard or find an electronics engineer to replace the failed components, this will probably be more expensive that a new board.

I have asus p5gc-mx motherboard when i start my pc it show some mess like,,,,,00 mass storage devices found and configured ,,,,and CMOS checksum BAD ,,,,,,,,, somebody know what is this and help me to fix...

Hi,

Checksum errors are almost always an indication of RAM problems. Have you replaced the RAM lately? Or perhaps had modules out and not reinstalled properly? Is this a new board?

No mass storage devices looks like there are problems with connections or hardware problems with your hard drive.

Are you setting up a new board or did this just happen out of the blue?

Can you get into the BIOS setup when it begins booting?

Any other information would be helpful.

Chasis intruded ,after changing cmos battery also the sameproblem

Either jumper the chassis intrusion header on the motherboard with a striaght jumper(like you'd find on a hard drive), or, easier, somewhere in the bios setup you can set Chassis Intrusion detection or reporting to disable.
