Recheck the placement of the ink cartridges. The black ink cartridge is larger; the cyan, magenta, yellow cartridges are all the same size.

When the ink cartridges were replaced, two or more may have been inadvertently switched or an extra yellow cartridge placed in.

Yellow ink will not print

You may have blocked yellow print head nozzles.

Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the printthen a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase anew printer.
The Print head will contain all the nozzels for all the different colors so you cannot just replace a single color print head nozzels.

When printing a picture, the picture is blue when printed the printer has new ink cartirages

goto printer properties and under the utility tab, print the nozzle check print out to see which color is missing.. if your picture is only in Cyan color, most probably your Yellow and Megenta is clogged.. try doing the print head cleaning and see if there is any improvement to your print out.

I've changed the ink cartridge in my epsom printer but it wont print, what can i do

If you haven't printed a lot lately, your print head might clogged. Here's what you can do: go to "print", then "properties", then "maintenance", and find the option "head cleaning". You will hear strange sounds coming from inside your printer, nothing to worry about, the printer is just trying to push the ink through the print head. In the end, the printer will print 4 colors: black, yellow, magenta and cyan. If the colors seem ok to you, you have fixed your problem. If not, repeat the process several times (just bear in mind that cleaning the head uses a lot of ink).
Hope that helps, and if it doesn't, please let me know, would love to help find a solution to your problem!

Pictures coming out green

On a picture that you have printed, when you see an area of green, what color should it be? You probably have reduced flow of one of the "balancing" colors. Blue, Yellow and Red add up to Black. If your picture is supposed to be almost black and you don't have enough red, the color will pull toward the blue and yellow, giving it a green tint.

Prints all yellow, with some blue and black, no brown

the problem is very simple the magenta ink the cartridge is over or the head is been blocked from where the magenta ink comes out,
because red colour requires ---yellow plus magenta(pink)----to make it red.and ----dark yellow plus magenta(pink) -------- for brown colour.

Color ink not printing

There is probably dried ink blocking the tubing or print head.

The Maintenance section of your user's guide has a procedure for cleaning the print head and testing the ink nozzles. It may be necessary to have the print head replaced if the maintenance procedures won't clear the problem.

If you don't have the owner's manual, you can download it from Canon on this web page.

Good luck...and I hope this helps!!
