Remove all the contents from the freezer. Next is remove the the shelves of the freezer by lifting the front of the shelf and then pulling the shelf out of the freezer. Remove screws on the left and right side of the curved panel, located on the bottom of the back panel. Remove the curved panel. Lift the bottom of the air tower cover, located in the center of the freezer's back panel, straight back and pull the air tower cover down to remove it. Remove the screw from the left side of the evaporator fan opening and from the panel in the upper-left side of the freezer's back panel and pull the back panel toward you and out of the freezer.
Step 1, remove dryer top: remove three phillips head screws from the back edge of dryers top.
stand in front of dryer and push back sharply about 2 inches on the dryer's top using the palms of your hands. Lift top up and off.
Step 2, remove control panel: remove phillips screws from back side of control panel corners and release clips along top edge of control panel, allowing panel to be taken off and set on top of dryer.
Step 3, remove front panel: Open door, remove phillips screws located at 4 and 8 O'clock positions at door opening. remove phillips head screws along fron panel's top edge. tilt panel forward and unplug light, door switch, and moisture sensor (at bottom of panel) and then set panel aside and out of your way.
yes the water inlet valve is bad! might be easier to remove the base, when you remove the base the back stays connected to the frame. just unplug the machine,remove the end caps on your control panel and remove the screws holding it on, them pull slightly forward and up to fllip the control panel back it has plastic hinges on top,be careful not to break them. then unplug your lid switch, with a screwdriver remove the 2 gold clips that hold the base to the back panel, then open your lid lift from back towards you and the whole base will come off leaving the back panel and frame, should be a whole lot easier to replace the valve, then replace reversing your steps , when you are lifting off the base look at the bottom of machine through your lid and you can see how to put it back on the frame! not to hard!
Follow the bellow steps in order to replace the belt:
Safety first! Unplug the machine from the wall-socket and make sure the machine has been idle long enough so that the heater elements, etc. have cooled.
Top cover removalRemove the top cover of the machine by undoing the 2 bolts at the back of the top panel.
Top cover removedYou should now be able to see if the belt is broken or not. It should be wrapped around the back of the drum. In this picture, you can see it has snapped and is loose on the drum.
Remove plastic coverRemove the plastic cover at the bottom rear of the machine and take off the black belt going from the red pulley to the white pulley (this turns the fan).
Air-flow coverAt the back of the machine, undo the 5 or 6 bolts securing the air-flow cover...

Remove these and keep them in a safe place for now.

Back PanelUsing a 7mm socket wrench, remove the screws holding in the back panel of the machine. Take care to support the panel (and the drum) as the screws are removed. A second pair of hands is useful here!
Back panel removalTaking care to support the drum, move the back panel away from the machine slightly. Do not move more than a few inches yet!

Removal
Remove rear seat cushion. Refer to Section 01-10 .
Seat Cushion, Rear
Sedan Removal
Apply knee pressure to lower front portion of the rear seat cushion. Push rearward to disengage rear seat cushion pad and frame (600A88) from rear seat cushion front retainers (63370).
Remove rear seat cushion from vehicle.
Remove rear seat back. Refer to Section 01-10 .
Seat Back, Rear
60/40 Split Bench—Sedan Removal
NOTE: Safety belt bolts do not secure seat back to vehicle.
Remove rear seat cushion as described.
Fold down back seat and remove two bolts in the center of each seat back striker plates.
Remove two bolts from outboard rear seat back frame retaining brackets.
Lift seat back up and pull forward to remove from vehicle.
Remove panel (52018) and quarter trim panel (31012). Refer to Section 01-05 .
Trim Panel, Quarter—Sedan
Removal
Remove rear seat. Refer to Section 01-10 .
Pull up on rear section of rear door scuff plate that overlaps lower quarter trim panel.
Pull lower quarter trim panel away from body.
Remove safety belt retaining bolt.
Feed safety belt through lower quarter trim panel.
Remove safety belt anchor plate-to-sill bolt from quarter panel.
Remove retractor anchor nut and retractor from rear quarter panel.
Remove upper seat belt anchor bolt and anchor from upper rear quarter panel.
Slide anchor plate end of safety belt through the openings in the quarter trim panel.
Remove outboard front safety belt retractor and tongue (611B08) from the vehicle.

Remove seat belt anchor bolt and retractor and tongue from rear deck panel.
Installation
To install, reverse Removal procedure.
Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted. If it is, remove the twist.
Tighten retractor anchor bolt and safety belt anchor plate-to-sill bolt to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb-ft).
if its less than 15 years old its a direct drive whirlpool, no belt, remove the cabinet, not the back panel. look up direct drive whirlpool washer cabinet removal on internet, and replace the coupler, most likely, if it drains.
