    Hi there,
I know this was year’s ago - but do either of you still have this service manual, please? Need to replace either the heater or the thermostat or possibly both... and its proving tricky!

    Many thanks,
    Martin.

I have ane electrolux dryer with reversible doors. I would like to keep the door opening to the left, but it hits the wall. Is it possible to adjust the door to make it stop before hitting the wall?

Hi Wendy, this is AP
I understand you want to reverse the door opening on your Electrolux dryer. I would be happy to assist you with those instructions. Are you able to provide the model number for your dryer? If this is a new dryer you may visit the manufacture website, locate your appliance, scroll down to bottom and you will see a listing of documents available, the installation instruction manual will have the reversal instructions listed. . I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect if you have additional information regarding your question.

Thank you,

I have a eurotech dryer model # EDC 158. Where can I purchase a latch assembly for it?

I have just spent 2 days trying to find a belt for a eurotech edc 158 Dryer. The company went out of business a few years ago and there is only one place to get parts. Call 972-941-1900. You will have to leave a message for a call back. Belt is $61 with shipping. They indicated they replacement parts will be available for 4 more years.

I have a 7 year old electrolux edc 5330 clothes dryer. The dryer seems to run normally - there are no weird sounds or error codes. However the clothes dry poorly. I have to run the most efficient drying...

Remove the dryer from the vent leading to the outdoors and try drying a load. This will reveal a restricted external/internal exhaust. If it dries in a normal cycle, it means the duct to the outside needs replaced or cleaned. If it still takes too long, the washer may need some maintenance to make it extract more water. If none of the above resolves the issue, the dryer will need to be disassembled inspected for worn, parts/air seals, etc. Follow the link below for disassembly instructions

Dryer takes hours to dry a load. I must run it through several cycles. Not much air coming out of outside vent so repairman suggested it be cleaned out. My husband completely removed it and found no...

My only thought is to look at the back of the drier. Check the hose coming out the back to the out side vent, and then run the drier with out the hose for a few moments. See if you have air moving then, if you have no air moving with out the hose attached. Your driers fan blades are ether clogged with lint or they have broken off some how.
