Hot water seems to not enter tub during washing cycle. all connections are correct and the hot water hose is hot up to the back of the washer, im baffled ? does the unit start with cold water on the first...

They start with hot or warm ,what/ever the setting and rinse with cold water. Check the temperature adjustment and the cycle it's on as some do different things on different cycles.

Washing machine cycle far too long

Hi Fiona.I believe the cold valve is probably faulty & is not flowing fast Its probably dribbling water in?taking forever to fill.the machine should be giving up & beeping at you if thats the case.If you have a faulty cold valve then switching to warm won't help as the hot valve will close itself off to compensate for the lack of cold water..afterall you have told the machine to fill with warm,,if it cant make warm water because of a faulty cold valve then the hot will decrease to a point where its not letting any water thru..try a hot only wash..if it goes thru wash cycle ok then good chance its cold valve problem.wow i hope that helped.

Cold water dribbles in rinse cycle, hot and warm water fine

If you check the warm water flow you'll likely find it is HOT...and not warm. Check the faucet end of hose to see if screen is clogged. Should be screened washer with the dome portion of the screen facing out at you. Remove it and clean with brush to remove grit or scale from screen. If you find nothing there you need to replace the water fill valve located at the other end of the hoses. Good Luck

Kenmore 110 Top Load Washer-cold water fills extremely slowly

No it is probably the screen that is either in the end of the hose that attaches to the machine, and/or the screen is placed so that the cone is toward the machine instead of pointing away from the machine.
If the cone is pointing towards the machine any debris in the lines would collect and eventually fill the screen cone and slow or shut off water flow.

Getting only cold water to my washer; hot water is not there

Hot water solenoid valve on washer not working. Test resistance across connectors. No resistance equals bad solenoid. Their not expensive and easy to install.

Washing machine won't heat water

it sounds like the hot water supply hose on the back inlet water valve is not opening up,to check it switch the hoses, cold on hot,and hot on cold, put the washer on fill cold,if hot water comes out you know it's the water valve-mike

Kenmore washer series 80, Clothes still soapy

If you are getting no water spray during the rinse cycle that would cause the soapy clothes issue.

Are you getting cold water during the wash/rinse cycles? If you have the machine set to warm/warm you may only be getting hot water while the final spin is calling for cold.

If you have cold water available then the timer is not calling for the water spray. The problem is either in the mixing valve or the timer.

Washer Is Dribbling Water Into Tub

you have a bad inlet waer valve stuck in open position, youll need to replace the valve. easy enough to do, its the valve your hoses are screwed into, in the mean time until repair is made, you can simply turn offf water supply between loads ( not a bad thing to do anyway)
