The internet guy was just here today in my new place but i wasn't here with him.To connect to the internet it is asking for a 8 digit pin code located on the bottom of the router. I can seee several...

When you say, "IT is asking for..." exactly what is "it?"
It sounds to me like you have a Linksys wireless interface (possibly USB) on your PC which assumes it is going to connect to a Linksys router, which would have that PIN code on it... but you don't own a Linksys router and therefore the whole PIN code protocol is futile.
Bypass the proprietary PIN code nonsense and enter the WEP or WPA password the installer gave you (if any; it's possible he didn't set any) to connect to your access point from your PC.

Where do I find the WEPkey for Arris TM502G? The question is posted all over the internet, but no real answers.

The WEP key is a encryption key that is configured in the wireless settings of the wireless router. This setting is then applied to the wireless card in the computer so it can connect to the wireless router.

I have a wii so im trying to get this wpa code to get internet acess and i cant find it

try this trouble shooting guide. Please try the following troubleshooting: Are you using WEP or WPA security on your router? Log into the router using the default IP (consult your router's manual for assistance) Locate the "wireless security" section of your router settings and find the WEP or WPA key. If you are using 64-bit encryption, the WEP Key must be a 10-character key consisting of numbers or letters A through F. If you are using 128-bit encryption, the WEP Key must be a 26-character key consisting of numbers or letters A through F. The WEP Key must be a Hexadecimal (0-9, A-F, no other special characters or letters). If your router has multiple slots for a WEP Key, make sure the active key is the one in the #1 slot. If you are using WPA, the Wii console is compatible with the following types: WPA - PSK (TKIP) WPA - PSK (AES) WPA2 - PSK (AES)
If your WEP or WPA key is correct, then the problem might be related to MAC address filtering: From the router settings, locate the "MAC address filter" settings (also known as "access control", "access list", or "network filter" depending on your router model). If the Mac address filter is set to "enabled", then you must add the Wii's MAC address to the "allowed" list. You can locate the Wii's MAC address from the "console information" page (located under "Internet" in the Wii Settings). If the Mac address filter was disabled, then continue troubleshooting.

Check Nintendo's router info for special notes, if available, for your router. Click here to go to our Wireless Router lookup page. Use the drop-down box to select, if available, your router manufacturer. Click on your router's model number, if available. Read any "special notes" at the top of the router's page. Many issues can be solved by changing settings described in the "special notes."

Try a "Manual Setup" with the Wii console (how to), using your network's IP configuration settings. To access these settings: On your PC, click "Start" and then "Run." Type "CMD" into the field that appears to open a new window. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press "Enter" to display a list of internet settings. Locate the settings asked for by the Wii console during the Manual Setup process and enter them.

Power cycle your router and modem by unplugging them both from the wall. Wait a few minutes, and plug the modem back in. Wait a couple of minutes for the modem to initialize, then turn on the router. Try to connect the Wii console online and test for proper response. if you require further assistance please let me know and i will be glad to assist you. -Midwest-tek

Ok this is my problem i have a time warner arris tm602 modem i want to set up the wireless connection to my xbox 360 i need the wep key for this i want to know the default gateaway and/or the default...

The default username and password for most routers I have seen is admin and admin provided you have not changed it. All are lowercase letters. Also I suggest you use the WPA or WPA2+ encryption if its available. The WEP is easy to crack wirelessly and I had a gala time cracking my neighbor's router in less than 3 hours!

How to decode signal coming to the arris modem model:TM502G

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but these arris modems have a built in website where you can check statistics, etc. What you would do is open up your web browser and punch in I believe 192.168.1.1 into your address bar.

Securing wireless network connection

You need to log into the wireless router either by a computer that successfully connects wirelessly or by physically connecting with an ethernet cable. Once connected, log into the router by open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), and typing the router's address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the Address (or URL) line. The default usernameand password is usually "admin" & "admin" or "admin" & "password". Once successfully logged in, look for a tab or link that says "Wireless" or "Security". You'll be able to change whether security is enabled or disabled, and the password associated with it. Your security options are WEP or WPA (or WPA-PSK). WPA-PSK is the most secure, but WEP is also an acceptable choice. Select the security option of your choice and either enter text into the passphrase generator or choose your own password and type it into one of the security key text fields. If you use a password that is not a plain english combination of letters and numbers, be sure to write it down so that you can enter it as needed on other wireless devices that need to access your router (ie-pda phones, game consoles, laptops, desktops, etc). Be sure to save changes so that the security settings and password is saved.
Let me know how you make out.
