The interlock is going, Ifr you want to repair Unplug machine. open door and remove just the front part of the door seal, theres probably a metal band around it. where the door catch closes you will see two screws, remove these keeping you other hand around the back, behind screws holding the plastic interlock, there will be three wires attached to this or a plug remove these, remembring where they go, and take the interlock to the local shop. they cost no more than 20 pound

SOURCE: Final Spin Cycle Not Working
I unclogged the pump, it was really easy, and it fixed my problem (I have no mechanical know how)! let me explain how I did it! I have the Frigidaire Front loader for two years, it was acting funny, wouldn't spin, wouldn't drain. My solution was quick and simple, per a solution already mentioned on this site. In short, The rubber drain was clogged. There were two cotton breast pads, that must have been in there for months. Recently my washing machine would not drain, and therefore wouldn't even think about spinning fast. To unclog, first take off the front bottom panel. (There are two tight screws on the front bottom, next to the floor, I had to use a powerdrill to remove them, and tilt the machine against the wall to get to them). Next, there was a black rubber accordian on the front right, where the water drains. (remeber to unplug your washing machine, to avoid any shock or such!) I simply unscrewed the big metal ring, (I think it's called a gasket). After unscrewing the metal ring, I could easily pull the rubber accordian down 2 inches, stick my hand in it, and pull out debris. I pulled out debris for about 5 minutes, and was so excited because I knew my washer would work great again. I simply put the rubber accordian part back on the lip, screwed the ring piece pretty tight. I used a towel to absorb a small amount of water, that got inside the washing machine. Now, it is spinning a million miles per hour again. I will put the rectangular bottom front panel back on in a few days, I just want to double check, there is no leak, which there is no reason to suspect, as removing and putting the metal ring back on was easy!.

HI,
I have a FTF530FS about 5 years old. Just recently it started to make an awful noise during the spin cycle, as if the washer is overloaded or off center.
Anyone have any ideas for me before I pay to have Best Buy come out and look?
Thanks in advance
