I have a xerox workcentre XL2130. It had a bad paper jam. I cleared it - now it has an error code E4. I've turned it off and on - hit the clear button - nothing is clearing it? Help! Thanks, Stacia

Error code 116-323 in xerox 250

error code 116-323 on a Xerox WorkCentre 250 series printer typically indicates a problem with the Transfer Belt Unit. This unit is responsible for transferring the toner from the imaging drum onto the paper during the printing process. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
  1. Power Cycle: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a minute or two, then plug it back in and turn it on. Power cycling can sometimes clear temporary errors.
  2. Check Transfer Belt: Open the printer's front cover and locate the Transfer Belt Unit. Ensure that the Transfer Belt is installed correctly and that there are no visible signs of damage or obstruction.
  3. Clean the Transfer Belt: Dust and toner particles can accumulate on the Transfer Belt, affecting its performance. Gently clean the Transfer Belt with a soft, lint-free cloth or a cleaning pad designed for this purpose.
  4. Reset Printer: Some printers have a reset option or a combination of buttons to clear error codes. Refer to the printer's user manual or Xerox's support documentation for instructions on how to reset the printer.
  5. Update Firmware (if applicable): Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Xerox WorkCentre 250 printer. Updating the firmware might address known issues and improve printer performance.
  6. Check Consumables: Verify that all consumables, including toner cartridges and imaging drums, are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace any depleted consumables with new, genuine Xerox supplies.
  7. Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path that might be causing the error

Xerox Workcentre 4150. Paper keeps jamming in print engine area. We clear the jam and it jams again.

If your Xerox WC 4150 is displaying "Clear the Jam in the Print Engine" or constantly jams as paper exits the machine you should check and possibly replace the fuser actuator (part# 120N00534) This is the most likely cause, if however this does not fix the printer the next step may be to replace the sensor or fuser.
Here is a video that shows you how to check and replace the actuator. ItemInc.com has this part in stock and ships same day. Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa!

I had a paper jam a few days ago. Turned printer off then cleared jam and when I turned it on again it still had the E3 error code indicating it is still jammed. There is no paper in it anywhere. I have...

Check the paper feed tray for bent papers. Also, try blowing over the sensors to clear any debris. Check for small pieces that may have been left behind. If all fails, unplug it from the outlet, then start it up. Good luck!

Xerox WorkCentre Pro 215 E2 Error Code

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Xerox workcentre xd105f

It is entirely possible you have a small piece of paper that got ripped off somehow and it is now blocking the sensor leading the machine to think it has a paper jam.
Follow your jam clearance instructions again and pay close attention and rotate all movable parts in the jam area many times, then reboot the machine multiple times and allow the machine to completely come up before rebooting again, it may be necessary to reboot the machine 3 or 4 times to clear this error, each time following the jam clearance, if this doesn't resolve then you should have an expert take a look at the machine.

Paper jam

if you cleared the paper jam an your printer still shows this paper jam, you may try this:
1. after you clear the paper jam, turn off an on the printer.
2. if above advice is not working you may try to look more carefully (with a flashlight maybe) if a small piece of paper is not blocking the paper jam sensor.
3. unfortunately this is a job for a qualify serviceman.
4. in less then 2-3 % of cases is a defective sensor, and must be replace by a serviceman.

E2 Paper Jam code flashing .... but no paper jam!

There is a small sensor on the fuser that most likely has become disloged. It requires a lot of disassembly to get to.
But an E2 code is that sensor not being cleared off. It pops out of the frame sometimes during paper removal.
