Hi when fitting an new aerial line you need to put a splitter in the line.
it looks like this. they say satellite/tv on them this will stop interference from the boosters and the tvs on the same line, you connect it on the main arial line. you can then use both boosters if signal is weak but most digital aerials are good enough without them. it you have the right arial for your area. there are meany sizes. but say you are 15 miles from your tower then use a small aerial has the same fitting as this pic. that is out side aerials, inside aerials ie in loft you need a high gain aerial , long type. hope this helps. also if the aerial is not lined up it will not get great signal there is an app you can use on iphone or androids, tables etc to help you position the aerial in the right place it's called Uk aerial alignment . tool on app shows you the towers in your area and the best ones to use and shows you the aliment to the tower for best results. good luck

They are probably engineers working on your local digital transmitter or the wind has moved your ariel slightly.
This message is always to do with signal and is not a fault with the tv.

I think you need to get Sky because it will give you 100% coverage of all terrestrial channels. You may need to retune the television otherwise just get sky
