My frigidaire glgh1642 won't run the spin cycle it just continues to tumble

Good morning! Possibly the noise was due to improper placement of load into the spinner which should be within its capacity load. best regards.

SOURCE: Washer stops before the first spin cycle after it has drained and continues when I spin the dial a bit.

HIm this is a faulty timer control. simply replacing this device will fix this issue.

Goto http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals and download the model wiring diagram. It will explain how to view and interpret additional error codes. I have the exact same issue with my machine (will not spin). The error code #E47 indicates that the machine thinks the door is open and will not engage spin. Fixes: new door switch ($85) or new control board ($285).

the drain pump is not working,after wash cycle the washer should drain the used water,if it does not function-all the next cycle will not commence.
