1. Check the audio setup menu, make sure that the internal speaker is turned on;
2. If the internal speaker is turned on, the problem is the main board.
3. If you use a set-top box (such asa cable box or a satellite box) it may be defective. To vitrifying it , please connect a DVD player to the TV, play a move, let see it has sound or not.
currently trouble shooting Bose Companion 2 computer speakers, no sound from speaker, would like to know how to open cabinet to see if wires are attached to speaker?
disconnect speaker,turn gain down to about 10%.repower amp check and see if protection light comes on.if it does recheck power,remote,ground,if it doesent go into protection then kill power and rewire speakers
Didn't get any response and the instruction book doesn't address this problem in the trouble-shooting pages..........so I swapped phones with someone who doesn't need to use the speaker.
This worked for me, but I'm sure tired of constantly searching for ways to fix the problems I encounter with my Denon DRA-397. When it works, it's great, but I don't have a degree in electrical engineering. Why can't they produce a user friendly trouble shooting guide?
