If you are focusing very close that may be a consideration. But if it does not change at any focal length, and focal distance then it will need to be repaired. Or, try KEH.com for excellent quality used lenses. That lens can be replaced to the same or less than a repair.

Persol has a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you are out of the warranty period you may want to contact the guys at www.sunglassreplacementlenses.com. They offer OEM parts for Persol.

Unfortunatley this is quite common with Persols. The frame can be heated and the lenses placed back into the frame but this problem will continue. They glasses have a 2 year manufacturers warranty.

the problem you have face is qutie normal thougn you maintain it still the dust will cause thes problem . try washing it with warm water fill it with soap liquid and get it washed if is not goin please approach the sunglasses dealer they have a liquied to clean the sunglasses it is very cheap

It sounds like there is mechanical binding inside the lens assembly.

If you are good at working on small mechanics such as like inside a watch, and you have the tools to work on the camera, you could take it apart to see if you can easily fix it.

Most likely you may not be able to buy internal parts for the lens if it needs parts. The lens is normally changed as a complete unit during service.
