I have a HP 1315 all-in-one. The check paper and check printer lights are flashing. The copy's is showing E. Size sign is green. and the paper is green. and the starter copy is green. Ink cartridges moves from left to right and makes a banging sound. and it moves back and forward from the reight and the left.

apply two or three drops of 3 in 1 oil to top of the big silver rod (inside printer cover)on which the ink cartridges ride.

SOURCE: I replaced the ink cartridge

remove the new cartridge..inspect the bottom to ensure the contacts are clean and clear of tape or residue.
