My parents bought a Propel RC 3-Channel Remote Control Gyropter for christmas like a month ago at JC Penney. When I tried to make it fly I noticed that the lower helix was not rotating. So I have not been able to fly it. I hope you can help me. Thank you.

Charged my Gyropter for 20-30 minutes and it would not fly. Tried again and it won't charge and still would not fly. Batteries are new as is the Gyropter.

I solved this same problem by removing the canopy and realigning the helix shaft with the motor gear. The small screwdriver provided will work. Be careful of the front white LED light when pulling the canopy off.

    How did you pull the canopy away I have not been able to do so due to the LED light.

The gyropter will not charge when I plug it in
Hi,
Check the charger adaptor if it has any output power. If no power comes out replace the adaptor.
Check also the battery terminal, it might already corrode and needs clean up.
If all does not work, the battery in the helicopter is already malfunctioning.

To make it easy for you - you should have original remote.
Then through the menu look for channel set up then make sure you select cable or antenna then you do autosearch(sometimes called autoprogram).Unless the tuner is defective,you should be able to program withe the original remote.
