Timex 1440 Nylon watch Logo
Posted on Dec 25, 2010

I'm trying to set my son's Timex 1440 watch. I can get the minutes blinking but when I touch the top right button it only moves the minutes in 30-minute increments. So i can set it at 8:30 or 9:00, for example, but nothing in between. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with the watch my wife bought me. On the mode make sure it doesn;t say T2 in the top right hand corner. if it does you are in the wrong mode. Hit the mode button until it shows the day of the week highlighted and a date and then go through the normal time set procedures. That worked for me.
