Go to Memory. and Reset all Memory. This will take care of the problem.

However, if you have programs that you don't want deleted. Go first to memory, manage programs, and hit enter by each one to lock it.

It wont let me graph. i keep getting an error message err: window range.

You need to press the "window" button located at the top of the calculator, then change the Xmin,Xmax,Ymin, and Ymax to values that your graph will fit in.

For my ti-84 I try to graph & it says ERR:window range...but when i try to fix the range it won't allow it...is there a good widow range to have for all graphing purposes?

There is no one good window range for all graphs, since graphs can have different areas of interest.

Press the ZOOM key, then select ZStandard. This will restore the window settings to the default range, which will at least allow the graph to be displayed. You can then change the window range and/or zoom as desired.

If this doesn't do it, please reply to this post, giving the function(s) you're trying to graph and your current window settings.

When graphing, after a formula is entered and the graph button is pushed, all I get is "ERR: WINDOW RANGE" What needs to be done? [email protected]

Start by pressing ZOOM (the center function key on the very top row of the keyboard, just below the display) and select 6:ZStandard. This will set the window range to the standard default. After that, you can either zoom in on an area of interest or press WINDOW (just to the left of the ZOOM key) and enter in the window range.

ERR: WINDOW RANGE 1: QUIT

There's something wrong with your window limits, for example Xmax < Xmin or Ymax < Ymin. Press WINDOW to bring up the window editor and examine the values, making sure there are no inconsistencies.

If you don't see anything wrong, post a comment here listing all of the entries in the window editor.

My calculator doesn't graph anything just says err:window range and 1:quit and the graph is weard!!help meeee please !!!!!

Try using the standard Zoom.
If you are drawing Y=f(X) functions, press [ZOOM][6:ZStandard]. The window dimensions will be [-10, 10] for X and the same for Y.
If you are drawing polar graphs, in addition to the X,Y windows dimensions, you have Theta min =0 and Theta max =2*Pi =(6.28)

ERR: Window Range

Press ZOOM and select Zoom standard (ZoomStd).
Alternatively, press the WINDOW key to access the window range setup
Set Xmin=-10
Xmax=10
Ymin=-10
Ymax=10
These are the standard dimensions of the window.
You can change the dimensions as long as Xmin is less then Xmax, and Ymin is less than Ymax. Do not make Xres close to Xmax-Xmin.

Graph feature not working on my TI-83 Plus

Simple:

Hit this sequence:

"ZOOM" "0"

That is for the "Zoom Fit" option. The calculator does not like the window you have for the equation you've given it. With this option, it will automatically give you the best fit in the window for the equation!
