THE WATCH IS FROZEN. ANALOG/DIGITAL DISPLAYS ARE FROZEN ON THE DATE IT HAPPENED AND THE WATCH HANDS ARE FROZEN. I JUST HAD THE BATTERY REPLACED A COUPLE MONTHS AGO, SO I KNOW ITS NOT DEAD (ESPECIALLY SINCE I CAN STILL SEE THE DIGITAL NUMBERS). ANY WAY TO RESET OR OVERRIDE?

The same thing happened to me (digital display and hands "frozen" or stopped at same time). This "All Reset" procedure fixed it per the Citizen Manual. (Note: This erases any stored data as indicated in the manual.)

1. Pull out the crown (you may need to unscrew it if your watch is the screw-down model, like mine.)

2. Press and hold all 3 buttons simultaneously.

3. The digital display may go blank, and then look like gibberish. That's ok.

4. Push in the crown.

5. The watch alarm should beep twice.

6. Pull the crown back out, and set the time (analog hands).

7. Push in the crown. (Screw it back down if you have the screw-down model.)

8. Set the time on the digital display using the appropriate side-buttons.
Here is a link to the Citizen watch manual for this watch. See page 19 for this procedure.

I have a disallignement of 10 minutes between the digital and the analogical time. The digital time is perfect how can I allign the analogical one?

You have to know that analog time "follows" digital time.Any hour/minutes correction on the display has direct effect on time/minutes hands. Some times, mostly after battery replacement, hands might have declination. That is why there is a function so called "Hands home position adjustment".Using this function you can align both hands to 12/00 position. If there is any declination (I think is your case) you can correct.Try to enable this function by pressing for 4-5 sec the upper left button(A) until "HAND SET" appears. If hands are not aligned exactly to 12/00 position, you must correct by pressing the lower right button (D) for forward movement or the upper right button (B) for backward movement. In fact, minutes hand is aligned, hour hand follows. When both hands are set to 12/00 (home position) press button A again.Time Mode returns to the display.Normally hands will now show exactly according to digital (display) time.I hope this will help.

My DZ 7241 watch analog watch does not turn on?

please ckeck the crown of your analog time if it is pressed down, if it is pressed it is possible that even if it is a brand new watch, the battery has no power at all.. it is maybe that your newly purchased watch is been in its selling showcase fo a long time, so that the watch movement consume all the power of the analog's battery.. you have to replace the battery of your analog., Note: your watch has three batteries. I hope this will help..

Back has NO screws. How do I easily remove it to replace the two batteries?

Hi, You may know that this watch runs on two batteries, one for digital display and another for analog hands.
If the analog hands stop working all you need to do is to replace the battery and please replace both at the same time since the band and cover take some effort to remove.
You need to take off the both bands first to access the back side than the back cover with a small knife..
Just in case,if you need the user manual here is the link.

Oh, one additional thing about my CASIO 'WAVE CEPTOR' watch: After I got (finally) the manual and set up the watch, it set the DIGITAL display to the correct time & date, but the ANALOG display re-set...

You can align the analogue time with the digital time by pressing the mode button until you reach the hand setting position (HS) and then press one of the right hand buttons to change the hand position.

(Check out this with the instructions- it is all there!)

I cant get the hands to move on my iron man 42 lap dual tech watch

This watch has two batteries in it, one for the digital display and one for the analog movement. Chances are you just need to replace the analog battery, which is under the larger digital battery.

Analog clock not in sync with digital clock

This problem may be due to your analog hands being improperly zeroed. To find out, try this: 1. Put the watch in chronograph mode by rotating the crowon in its normal position to "chr" 2. Pull out the crown two clicks. This should cause all of the hands to point to zero. If you do this and your minute hand points to 1 o'clock, or five minutes, you will know that this is the problem. If this is the problem, you can can correct it by zeroing the hands as follows: 1. Put the watch in chronograph mode by rotating the crowon in its normal position to "chr" 2. Pull out the crown two clicks. This should cause all of the hands to point to zero, or close to it. You should also notice the letters "HR" in the lefthand digital display. This allows you to move the hour hand by rotating the crown. If the hour hand is not pointing at 12 o'clock, rotate it so that it does. 3. Push the top button once. The letters "MIN" should appear in the lefthand digital display. This allows you to move the minute hand on the large dial, and the minute and hour hands on the small UTC dial. Rotate the crown so that the minute hand points directly to 12 o'clock. 4. Push the top button again. The letters "SEC" should appear in the lefthand digital display. Rotate the crown to point the second hand directly at 12 o'clock. 5. Push the crown back into its normal position. Set the digiatl time and date in your tie zone, and your analog hands should match the digital read-out. If the zeroing of the hands is not the problem, I don't know what is wrong with the watch.
