Toshiba 40UX600U TV Logo

Two problems on my Toshiba 46UX600U 1. I have tried every possible way to connect it to my WiFi. PBC doesn't work in fact it crashes my TV forcing it to turn off and then on again. PIN also doesn't work as my Access Point says it successfully connected but no signal on my Toshiba TV 2. The more pressing problem is media sharing. I have many things on my home computer that I would like to stream on the built in Media Player but NOTHING plays back on the TV. Every song and video I have says Media Playback Error. For the life of me I cannot figure this one out. Oh and I do have the TV hard lined into my network since I cannot get the WiFi to work so that is not the problem with the question. Any help would be VERY appreciated! Thank you! -JB

Not an answer: wireless access is continuously grayed out in menu even though adapter is plugged in. I reset TV to no avail. Wired connection works fine.

My Toshiba L505 ES5018 FN keys is not working

Hello. It's possible the driver for the wireless card(network interface controller) was not installed properly. Try to download the drivers from Toshiba website and install on your laptop. You may get the WiFi Driver from this link
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2520800&rpn=PSLU0U&modelFilter=L505-ES5018&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

There's two WiFi Driver available, try to use the Realtek first and if it doesn't work try the Atheros. If WiFi driver installed correctly you should no longer see the "!" symbol and you will be able to enable wireless on your laptop using FN key combination.

Hope this works for you.

Had the unit (46UX600U) for about 8 months with no problems. In the last couple of days the unit will seem to turn itself off and then back on. The green light never goes off though. This happened once...

If going through a cable box you may be loosing signal from time to time. Try playing a DVD to rule out the possibility that its your tv. Try replacing cable box, or add a cable amplifier. Hope this helps.

I can't connect to a wireless internet. I think it's a problem with the driver. The model is a663, Toshiba Satellite. I've download a wi fi driver and intalled it, it worked for a few minutes and then the...

It could be caused by conflicting software, if you have your device software and windows software trying to setup wifi connections.
Check on the task bar for two icons and right click on one of the icons and select disable.

My wifi device actually works better using windows to configure wifi so give them both a try.

If this is not the problem try renewing IP address,

Click Start on task bar,
click the Run... icon
type cmd in the box and click ok
in the cmd box type ipconfig /release
then ipconfig /renew

M300 toshiba connecting to locally, not connect to internet

Dear Shifsa,

Considering the fact that you are trying to connect to a wifi connection which of course is unsecured,
here are some workarounds..

1. Uninstall the wireless card driver.
Go to device manager > click on the + sign beside network adapters > right click on the wireless adapter and select uninstall. Restart the computer it should get reinstalled automatically.

2. try disabling or uninstalling the antivirus or internet security software. you can later on again download the a free software from www.hippo.com

Hope this helps.

Anup
