I have a 1.0 GB memory chip that I use to store my pictures on with my camera. It has always worked fine, I just filled it up and had a few more left. I put it in my dig. photo frame to see them all day, pulled it out like normal one day to take the last few picts left. When I put it in my cam, it says "Card Error" and wont even allow me to take pictures on it. I tried putting it in my labtop, says the same thing. I put it back in the frame, it wont read it now either . It was just working fine, then the next time not.I have very important photos on there I would at least like to get off, is there any way...Dont really care about the chip unless it could be fixed...Any way i can get all my pictures off of the chip? Please HELP! Thanks, Ashley

1.0 GB Polaroid SD-M01G Memory Chip (made in Japan) by PNY
Hey ashley131,
One thing that might be happening is your SD card is set to the locked position on the side of your card. If this is not the case you could try opening the card by going to My Computer and right clicking on the memory card icon, then left click on open, and if it opens copy all the files shown and paste them into a folder of your choice, and then try opening the files using windows picture manager. If this doesn't work there are memory card recovery programs you should be able to use to recover your images just do an internet search for memory card recovery software. Once you have saved your images to your computer I would format your memory card in your camera, and the card should be able to be used again. I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Allan

when i insert the chip (4MB) initialing i couldn't access the pictureson it, and now when i put the chip in there is this sign that i don't understand, and it doesn't allow me to take pictures too.
the sign is like a chip with a caution mark on it. to me it appears to me as when there is no chip in.
