I would go to the manufactures website and download the user guide and look in the trouble shooting guide or I would check the water pump to see f there's not an obstruction in the pump preventing the pump from emptying the drum completely as if the water sensor is not telling the machine its empty therefore it cant start again

Sorry, meant to add, if you switch the machine off at the mains once you've cleaned out the filter (bottom right corener, front of the machine, behind a plate), leave it for 2 or 3 hours and plug in again, sometimes it works.
Mine worked again the first three times, but I think this time it's had it and it's engineer and pcb time.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

'doesn't finish wash'...........Try this-

I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter- so many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Lights flashing on indesit WIL123S

Hi, sounds like you need to change the door interlock located where the door catch pushes into.
Take the top off and undo the two screws with a tork screwdriver
and replace.
(Remember to turn off the supply and pull out the plug top)

Indesit wil 103 door won't open...

Welcome to Fixya.
Try holding the Start/cancel button in for at least 2 seconds.
If there is another lamp flashing at the same time as the door lamp, then you will have to call an engineer.

Hi there, My Indesit washine machine is washing, but will not go onto a spin. The delay timer keeps on flashing after the wash and the door will remain locked. The only way to open the door is to turn...

Could be several causes for this problem. first & easiest to check is the filter located behind the kick plate at front bottom of machine, any bloackages in here will cause this problem. check this & get back to me

Thanks,

Indesit washing machine, wil103

from the looks of it, this is called an f12 lights 1&2, communication error
which seems to be quite common. I've got the same problem.
If there's nothing in your filter, it could be the pcb (apparently, according to the research I've done so far).
Quite expensive apparently (£200?), but these machines don't seem very reliable, lots of people on the web having problems.
