Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer Logo

As it started through the rinse cycle, it stopped and flashed error codes (H and F I believe). The door locked button is lit and I've tried all the normal suggested ways to get the door unlocked, to no avail.

Why won't my washer start a cycle? Start button LED just flashes. All other lights are steady. Door lock sounds like it engaged, but nothing happens.

There should be a way to enter the washing machine into service mode to view an error code. Check your user manual and then you should have your answer!

My whirpool locked light keeps flashing and wont wash

Hi

The light is flashing due to the door lock error. The door lock is activated as the machine experienced an error or was stopped in middle of a cycle. Or the door was being pulled while the machine was running a cycle. Try unplugging your washer and restart the washer to check if you are still getting the same blinking light. If error is still not resolved then start the rinse/spin cycle & stop the cycle, now press and hold the cancel button for 5-10 seconds. However, if you are still not able to get the door open then you'll need to open the door manually by disassembling the washer.
Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.

What does E27 on display mean

Bosch washers come with built-in sets of error codes used to diagnose and correct common problems. The E27 code isn't often listed in Bosch manuals but relates to the washer door lock

The E27 error flashes on the washer LCD screen and stops the current load. Unplug your washer for 30 minutes and then plug it back in to reset the code.

Open and close the door two or three times to reset the sensor. Sometimes the door has been closed too hard and the sensor reading fails.

Machine stopped mid cycle and green light flashing under green start button

Many modern washing machines display error codes if they detect a fault, but not all washing machines display a readable error code, some indicate an error by flashing, or lighting some of the lights.

Hotpoint, Indesit, Zanussi error codes

Hotpoint, Indesit washing machines and Zanussi washing machines are some common appliances that display coded error codes. On their more expensive models, they display readable error codes but basic models (without digital displays) use flashing lights to convey the error fault code.

If your washing machine malfunctions and you can see some of the lights flashing, or one or more option lights have lit up, then make a note of which lights are flashing and which option lights are lit. NOTE: the error code list engineers have only shows the option lights by number and not by name. Therefore you need to report the lights as LED 1 and 3, or 2 and 4 etc. and NOT "delay timer" and "extra rinse". Count the lights from the left (or from the top if in a column) and report as "led 1 and 3" etc.

No Option lights?

With basic washing machines that have no option indicator lights, count the number of flashes. For example, the door locked indicator may flash 7 times, pause, and flash another 7 times in a constant cycle which would indicate error code 7.

This information is vital, and needs mentioning when reporting a fault.

Front loader stops mid cycle and blinks Er until start button is pressed, the cycle will continue, and sometimes repeats this scenerio three -four times each load. any thoughts anyone?

The control board has detected an error. Press any button to wake the machine then wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously then the failure code will appear in the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters as long as the buttons are held. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the code for further advice.

Miele g892 and just like everyone the red light comes on and dishwasher stops running> why cant you answer thic common problem>

The red light tell you there is a fault. You have to read the fault code and it will give you a general idea of the problem - to do this you have to enter the service mode of operation - close the door and turn the dishwasher on.
The Start/Stop light must be blinking. If the Start/Stop light is not blinking, press and hold
the Start/Stop button for at least 3 seconds to exit the cycle. The Start/Stop light should now be blinking.

Press and hold the Start/Stop button while turning the dishwasher on. Release the
Start/Stop button and immediately press it 2 more times. Flashing Intake/Drain and
Salt lamps and a lit Rinse lamp indicates successful accessing of services mode

Door lock

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

To my knowledge, there are two (2) versions of a Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer: a) ATF6000ES1 and b) ATF6000ES0, pls which one do you have?

If something is wrong with the washer, it could tell us the error codes and therefore would give us a general idea where to start the diagnosis. Other than the "Door Lock" is not lighted, anything else out of the ordinary? Or is the unit non-functional since it senses that the door is not lock and therefore would not engage any cycle?

To read the error codes, pls:
  • plug the washer to the mains;
  • wake the washer by pressing any button;
  • wait for a few seconds to stabilize the electronics/circuitry;
  • press and hold the Start/Pause and Cancel buttons simultaneously.
As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an E followed by two (2) numbers, a number and a letter or two (2) letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse and Final Spin indicators will flash. Pls note and postback the error code displayed.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
