Hdd not seen by OS. How do I get to the HDD?
There is actually a hidden third screw that need to be removed in the center of the hard drive bezel rubber screw cover. Without removing that 3rd screw, you will damage the bezel for good!
Hi - follow these steps and picture:
. Remove the hard drive by following these steps:
a. Remove the two rubber screw covers 1 that conceal the
hard drive retention screws.
✎Spare part number 371808-001 should be used to replace
the hard drive rubber screw covers.
b. Remove the two PM2.0×6.0 screws 2 that secure the
hard drive to the notebook.
c. Use the notch in the hard drive bezel to slide the hard
drive forward 3.
d. Remove the hard drive.

SOURCE: DriveLock HDD Bay Password
hello,
Will your NX6110 allow you to get into the Bios before the drive lock password coes up? If it doesnt and you dont know the password, you have two options. One being to send the laptop off somewhere to get the password an pay thru the nose. The other is just to buy another hard drive and re-load your system. Those passwords are build into the hard drives and there is really no way to get the password easily. You could of course pay for a machine that will hopefully get your password, but why pay all that money just to use it once, or twice. It comes down to the facts of how importand is the data on your hard drive?
