Either the toner cartridge is very close to empty or the drum unit needs to be replaced. Check your warning lights. Yellow = toner, red = drum. If no warning lights, pull out the toner/drum unit and remove the toner cartridge. Have a look at the cylinder in the drum (DR2125) - if it is very black and matt looking you will need to have it cleaned or just replace it.
The entire 57 series from Xerox is one of the friendliest units for operators there are on today's market. To replace the drum module you simply need to unlock and drop the tray which is attached to it below the drum unit, then swing the locking arm to the unlock position and remove the old drum. All the drum replacement kits come with an instructional showing you how to remove the shipping material from the new drum and then simply replace drum into the copier and return locking arm and relock the lower tray to bottom of drum frame and shut the door. It's that easy.
ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND: NEVER, and I mean NEVER touch your fingers or hands to the drum surface. The natural oils in your skin can cause damage to the drum surface. Be very careful when installing the drum to ensure that nothing touches the actual drum surface.
SECOND WARNING: Drums are LIGHT SENSITIVE! NEVER leave a drum exposed to office light or any other light source for more than 5 minutes. If you need to stop your replacement procedure, make sure you cover the drum with a dark black garbage bag or some other source that can completely stop the light from reaching the drum.

This usually means that you need to replace the drum on the printer. Most likely it's under 10%, because that's when the warning light comes on. Depending on the printer, you may have 50-150 pages before it completely fails. I would advise to get it replaced soon.
Reminder: A drum is NOT the toner. It's normally a device that may house the toner. Or a separate part.
Try removing the drum unit with the fax machine turned on.After reinstalling the drum check the display for a "new drum?" message.Answer "yes" and the mashine will reset the counter
The drum light is on due to a preset counter to notify you that the drum has reached the end of Normal Usage life expectancy. It doesn't mean that it has failed, yet...but soon. I would suggest having a new drum on hand for when print quality starts failing. Either new drum units have a reset fuse in them to clear the warning light, or there is a reset proceedure to use after installing the new drum unit.
