Hi, fan may have stuck, but you could have a defrost problem, check defrost heater, thermodisc(defrost thermostat) and defrost timer. or excessive moisture, if your days are hot, or if you put hot foods in ref. could result in excessive ice build up. you can manually defrost it, by unpluging ref. for couple of hrs, until all ice melted. then restart. you make get excessive water on floor. be prepared.

Have you noticed a big difference lately in the cooling of the cold food section? Any time you open doors to a refrigerator or freezer you allow them to exchange room temperatures with inside ambient temperatures. The only time you should be concerned is when these temperatures begin to remain abnormally high. Many times the temperature rises in the kitchen while diner is prepared. Those temperatures also affect how long your refrigerator need to run to maintain the temperature settings you select. Your refrigerator has something called an Adaptive Defrost Control. If you should have problems with it you would notice a big difference.Another thing that can help is to make sure the condenser coils below refrigerator remain clean and clear of dust. The warm air circulating below your refrigerator is as important as the cold air inside. As for the vents that lead from freezer to cold food section they sometime become obstructed especially if they have a damper inside and frost locks the damper shut. Check the door gasket seal.
Open the door for a few seconds and then close.
Immediately open the door again, and, if sealing properly, it should take more pulling force to open the door.

There is a vent that is connected from the freezer down to the fridge right where the fan is,make sure nothing is blocking it.

samsung units have duel cooling. that means there is a evaporator in the freezer and the fresh food section. it is possible that the temp sensor in the refrigerator section could be bad. and they have been known to have defrost problems there to. the samsung is a complicated unit and its hard to describe how to repair since there is a lot of electronics that control everything. the best thing I could say is to unplug the refrigerator for a few minuets. sometimes this will reset everything and start the unit back to the factory settings. if that does not work I would call for service. hope it helped you some
