Check on the drain valve /drain pump and test if the voltage comes to the component. If so the drain pump is not working well. You can remove and test on bench, clean and back flush to remove dirt and see for a good flow. Once confirmed refit or else the pump must be replaced if the pump is not performing as required , the coil can be faulty.
However if voltage is not present on the pump after the wash cycle and during the rinse cycle, the controller can be defective.

Haier HLP21N Pulsator 1-Cubic-Foot Portable Washer. Why won't it completely drain?

Question edited for clarity.

My guess is that your drain hose is too high. The pump is in the base of the washer and pushes the water up the tube and into the drain/ when the pump stops, the residual water in the hose drops back into the base of the machine, so the higher the hose, the greater the column of water.

The Drain Pump is blocked or failing.

My Hitachi nw60csp wont drain the water from the bottom of the barrel completely

If your Hitachi NW60CSP washing machine is not draining the water from the bottom of the barrel completely and there is always water left just to the rim of the spinning green plate at the bottom, there may be a problem with the drain system. Here are some things you can try to fix the issue:

Check the drain hose: Make sure the drain hose is properly connected and not clogged. If the hose is damaged or clogged, it may prevent the water from draining properly.

Check the pump: The pump is responsible for moving the water out of the machine. If the pump is faulty or clogged, it may prevent the water from draining properly.

Check the filter: The filter is located at the bottom of the machine and is responsible for trapping any debris that may be present in the water. If the filter is clogged, it may prevent the water from draining properly.

Check the control panel: If the control panel is not functioning properly, it may prevent the machine from completing the drain cycle.

To determine the cause of the problem, it may be necessary to have the machine inspected by a professional. They will be able to diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate repair.

Asko fifteen eighty five dishwasher completes cycle, but the drain cup area still has water in it.

The drain cup normally has water in it after it drains. The pump runs it empty, but when it stops, some water runs back down from the drain hose, which you see in the drain cup. If there is water in the bottom of the tub, you may be having some siphoning coming back after draining. Check to make sure the drain hose has been routed up to the bottom of the countertop as per the installation instructions. That's what prevents siphoning, and its very important so it doesn't suck sewer water back in with the clean dishes!!

Dishwasher will not go through complete cycle it will not take water away

most washing machines nowadays have a electrically operated switch that will open to either drain or let in water if ur machine does not drain the water the machine will not go ahead in completing its cycle as the sensors sense that there is water in the drum so unless the water drains u will have this problem. Check for a click sound when the machine reaches a point to drain if that doesn't happen then it is this drain switch that isn't working

Whirlpool dishwasher is not fully draining after cycle complete

THE PROBLEM SOUNDS TO BE WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE DISHWASHER ITSELF. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR DRAIN HOSE IS NOT KINKED AND ALSO THAT THE DRAIN HOSE FORMS A LOOP. IN OTHER WORDS IT SHOULD GO STRAIGHT UP BEHIND THE UNIT AND THEN DOWN INTO THE SINK OR DISPOSAL.THIS SHOULD TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM.
