WON"T WORK I got this camera somedays ago and it will not work with and without battery/power. It keeps blinking red at the direction botton's space when I try to put it ON.

    It wont turn on atall but i can plug it into the computer to get pics and transfer mp3 any help please

The blinking red light is the low battery, need re-charge indicator. It blinks while it's charging. Just plug it in overnight - it'll be back in the blue (charge indicator when you open view screen) in the morning

What do u mean the wrong charger? all i got with this thing is a usb cable and as soon as i attach it i get a solid red light and can access the disc but it wont charge the battery so WTF?

Sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)

Has the laptop been damaged? Dropped? Same on battery? Remove battery, try AC only. Try another cord/charger with the EXACT same power specs. Reseat Memory mods. Test the DC volt output, at the laptop plug in, with a multimeter. Power issues are difficult to diagnose long distance.

it must be your tv was heated on long usage.
sir, try to go to your nearest expert technician. they have tools to use on fixing your tv's hardware. or see if your tv has a warranty to send it back to the place what youve bought it. hope that helps!

Because the camera is what is technically known as 'Portable'and is designed to work purely from the internal battery. the Power Adapter merely charges the internal battery

Red flashing light on battery indicator on the loading dock.
My Z760 does the same thing. When that happens I run the battery completely down by taking pictures until it shuts down. Then when I put it on the dock it charges properly. Don't leave your camera on the dock all the time and don't try to always keep the battery fully charged--instead it will develop memory and think it needs to be fully charged to run and will give you a low battery signal earlier than it should. Wait until you actually get a low battery signal before charging and it should help, but mine will still give me the red light sometimes. Then I run the battery out like I said before. I hope this information helps. :-)

are you sure the battery is charged?

put the battery on the charger.
is it blinking red or does it stay red?

if it's blinking red, it won't charge correctly unless you do this:

MATERIALS: 9 volt battery, 2 pieces of wire the same length, casio battery

DIRECTIONS: connect the + sides of each battery with a wire, and the - sides of each battery with another wire. [I just held them there, but maybe you can tape them if you're having trouble.] Hold it for 30 seconds. Then try charging it. If it doesn't work keep trying it until it does. TRUST ME! It took me 5 times to do it effectively.

Problems with camera
Hi everyone,

I found you because 10 minutes ago, my camera exhibited the same behavior as all yours. All of a sudden, the red and green lights started blinking on and off and nothing worked. I just tried switching batteries and the camera is working! I am using a couple of RCR-V3 Li-ion rechargeable batteries, which I purchased on Ebay three months ago. Thought I'd pass it on.

Thats an easy set to trouble shoot, but you would need the manual called toshiba power supply and shutdown circuit troubleshooter. It takes you step by step on the items to check so you can easilly pinpoint the problem. You can get that manual at the following link, they email it right after purchase and they also provide free one on one tech support so you can get help with it if you need. Heres the link
