SCX-4200 jam Hi My Samsung SCX-4200 jams repeatedly. Basically a few days ago in the midle of a print job a single sheet of paper stopped in the middle of the machine: it had left the paper tray completely, and the front end of the paper had just gone over the final rollers. This means that most of the paper has gone under the toner, except the last few inches, and is printed fine. Once the toner is removed the errant paper taken away, and toner replaced the same thing happens again and again. There are no paper fragments I can see in the machine causing it to jam, and other users are reporting the same problem on a message board. Any thoughts? many thanks Tim

Remove the toner box then clean the black colour roller with a wet smooth cloth.

I suppose that the exit paper sensor in fusing section is broken (ussually when you pull out paper jam you can brake this little black or blue pawl). You can order and buy only this paper sensor pawl (very cheep).

when paper jam occurs, Paper jam appears on the display.

Message Location of Jam
[Paper Jam 0] - In the paper input tray
[Paper Jam 1] - In the fuser area or around the toner cartridge
In the manual feeder
[Paper Jam 2] - In the paper exit area

Paper Jam
Good day, Check the table below about the problem of paper jams.

Display and Meaning

[Paper Jam 0] - Paper has Jammed in the feeding area of the paper input tray.
[Paper Jam 1] - Paper has jammed in the fuser area or in the manual feeder.
[Paper Jam 2] - Paper has jammed in the paper exit area.

Samsung SCX-4200 manual feed prints crooked
You need to change the pick up rollers for your printer if it pulling the paper unevenly... but first check to see that the paper size adjuster on the tray i self is set to your paper likeness.....adjust to the correct paper size if not...

SCX-4216 "No Paper" message
I've had this happen to my scx4521f a few times. I think I had too much paper in it. Or maybe it was poorly loaded paper. Take the stack of paper out and turn it around so you have no dings or dents on the inward facing side. You need to make sure that the paper is stacked evenly. Good luck. And now I will post my problem.

Samsung SCX-4216F feed wheel
Clean the Feed Roller In the middle of the printer. Take the paper tray out- you will see the roller in the middle. Send a print job with paper tray removed. Press the black thing to fool the printer that it has paper. You will see the feed roller move. When it is in the position you want to clean- open the toner door and it will stop moving so you can clean it. Isopropyl alcohol and LINT FREE CLOG.

Paper Jam Error 2
Hello,
Don't try a dozen things suggested by people online who's credentials are unknown. Go straight to the source.

I had the same issue and just went to www.samsung.com - looked up my model #, downloaded the PDF manual 86 pages and did a search for that error. It had step by step picture diagram of how to clear out the jam.

I just saved the company a few hundred on a service call to our printer sales/service vender.
