Display powers of with power up of AVC

Unit is five years old and until now no problems. Following suggested power up process (1) dispplay Main Power on yields red to blinking red expected. (2) AVC Main Power on and Display red goes off. Attempts to immediately repeat sequence yields no red light on Display when pressing Main Power button. Can only repeat process after diconnecting power cord for Display and AVC unit for an hour or more. How many blinks does the red light give in a row? This would be an error code?

The problem for 7 blinks would be an Interface board. Apparently there is a glitch in the interface board that sends signals to the television. Basically the glitch shorts out the board and the t.v wont turn on and you will see the power light blink 7 times pause then 7 more. You can replace the board with a new one and update the software on the new interface board.

If is isn't 7, let me know and I will help you out with this

thanks

Sharp Aquos LC45GX6U & TU-GD10U. The unit doesn't power up, and has a red blinking light from the moment you plug it in. The unit works fine in service mode.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

I have just changed the ink in my printer and I have received an error message C18a0206. I can't locate this in my documentation. What is the problem?

PERFORM THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
A. - Press and hold the “*” key.
B. - Press the “#” key and release both keys.
Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
C. - Press and release in sequence the “1”, “2” and “3” buttons.
Display should say “Support” and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)
1. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”.
2. Press and release the “OK” button.
3. Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”,
4. Press and release the “OK” button.
5. Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear”.
6. Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.
7. Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
8. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
9. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer
10. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK.
11. If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If not, the printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.
12.To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or Software Installation.
13. If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

HI. Kindly, unplug the unit for five minutes. this will drain all power, and reset the main board. Once the five minutes have passed, simply plug the unit back into the power outlet. If the error continues, the touch pad should be replaced asap.

Red light on display not green as usual no power

Hold down the "input" button and "volume -" button while the MAIN POWER BUTTON IS OFF. Then turn on the main power button while those are held down, the light on the tv & avc box will turn green. When it turns green, immediately let off the 2 buttons and press "volume +" button, then press the "Main Power" button. Next step is to repeat the process about 20-40 times & the TV WILL WORK!. I have read that this may have something to do with the energy star compliant commands that can changed through the serial port.
The above is from psxpirate25. Thanks!
I had to repeat the whole process a couple of times to get rid of the factory setup firmware mode. Do it 40 times, I would mess up the sequence a couple of times. Keep trying, it does work.

Sylvania 6842-PEM Flickering Problem

Something is breaking down. Possibly a specific ceramic capacitor on the main power pcb that has been troublesome. Usually there is just a loud pop and the screen goes dead. If the set is less than a year old it is still on parts warranty and the technician could just change circuit boards until the problem is gone.

Display powers of with power up of AVC

This is the problem with my LC-37HV4U. I plug in the AVC and the tv/monitor and I get both red power lights (not blinking) but no green lights, sound, or picture. I mean the tv screen stays black! It seems like their is no communication between the AVC and the monitor. I thought at least the screen would light up when the power light came on and being it has it's own power source. This tv is driving me nuts!! Can anyone please help?? Thank you.
