time and date are not superimposed on 2006 cameras and later. However it can be printed:

Solution
time and date not coming in the print - sp.gif time and date not coming in the print - sp.gifsrc="/uploads/images/sp.gif" alt="sp.gif" class="h_mi" /> Current camera models (after 2006) do not have a superimpose function to display the time or date stamp on pictures. However, the time and date can be printed on images from a computer using Picture Motion Browser software. Additionally, if the camera is compatible with Canon® PictBridge™ technology, the time or date can be added to a picture by a printer that also has built-in PictBridge technology.
NOTE: When time and date stamp information is superimposed on an image file, it cannot be removed without editing or cropping the image. Therefore, the function to superimpose the time and date stamp was removed from newer-model cameras to prevent users from accidentally overlaying the information on images when the feature was inadvertently turned on.

How to get date and time printed on the devoloped print for sony cyber shot dsc-w570

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Please refer to the documentation for whatever program you're using to print. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Can I get a time date stamp on my power shot s80? if yes, how do I do it. I went through the menu functions with no luck. Thanks, Larry

To the best of my knowledge no Canon models enable putting time and/or date directly onto images.
However, you can do it in Zoom Browser - one of the software programs that comes with the camera.
Process.
1. Open an image you want to print out or save with date/time printed .
2. Click on Edit > Insert Text
3. In the drop down window move the cursor (in the form of a cross) to where you want the date/time printed and left click.
4. Click the butoon marked Import Shooting Date/Time - on the right of the window.
The date and time will be printed on the image immediately in a white border the size of which you can adjust.
NB All digital cameras store a great deal of information with the image at the time it is shot. This is known as EXIF data/file and it is the date and time recorded here that will go onto your image i.e. the actual time and date it was taken.

Can't find a way to get the date to show on the pictures

Use Canon's Zoom Browser software - it comes on the CD with the camera.
1. Open the image upon which you want the date and time.
2. Left lick on File then on Print.
3. The image opens in another window with a Properties column on the left including Shhoting Time/Date.
4. Left click on the down arrow and select your desired parameter. This can be varied if you then click on the Properties window BELOW Shooting Date/Time.
5. Left click on PRINT.

Does canon 1000A Power Shot Model comes with date and time format on the photograph to be printed in lab.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Need some1 2 explaint to me how I get the d&t printed on the photo for a canon powershot 1S camera please

you can Print the date and time to the picture when you take the print of it. It does not embed the date and time data into the image itself.

From the manual please read this
" Setting the date and time settings does not cause the date/time stamp to appear on images"

To print with date
This option will be available only for printing on card size paper

In the print order screen, select [Style] and press the SET button

You will get 3 options to set
1) Image
a) Standard b) multiple
2) Borders
a) Borderless b) Bordered
3) Date
a) On ( Adds the date to the print )
b) Off ( Prints without the date )

Select Date option as On and the date will be printed on the picture.

still you are having any doubts, please refer to user manual and Direct Print User Guide
which i am giving as links here.

Cant get date to print on phots

The photos taken by EOS cameras don't have the date & time overlay. To print your photos with date/time stamp, use Zoombrowser EX software that came with your camera. When you select photos for print, you'll get the option of printing the date/time (and even the choice of font's colour) on the photos.

Ink cartridge error

Check the date on your ink cartridge.  I bet it has expired.  If you put in a "new"cartridge but it is even an HP one with an older date, it may not work.
I had my printer stop in the middle of a print job.  It was printing fine and suddenly would not print.  So I refilled the cartridge with an ink kit I had on hand and reinserted it--no go!  Then I opened a remanufactured cartridge I had bought some time ago and inserted it.  No go, despite the fact I could see ink coming from the jets.  I finally gave up and bought a new HP ink cartridge, and it worked just fine.  But it bugged me why the new one would work and the other two that seemed just fine would not.

Later I learned that HP has a chip that reads the expiration date on the cartridges and that is what keeps those old ones from printing.  I found one trick of setting my date on my computer back to a year earlier than the exp date on the cartridge.  I saw the date on the remanufactured one I had tried earlier was 2005, so I set my computer date to today's date but year 2004.  After forcing me to do print alignments several times and take the remanufactured cartridge out and put it back, I got it to print just fine.  And that 2005 cartridge that would not work earlier is what I am printing with right now.

Time & Date Stamp

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image. Any photo printing program should have an option for printing the date and time on the picture (or in the margin or even on the back if the printer is two-sided).
