You just need to mop up the water inside the cabinet to allow the float switch in the base to reset.check there is nothing stopping the float returning to the floor. a small leak from the door seal can cause enough of a leak to trip it . clean the door glass and seal to stop this. or change the door seal.

Thank you fo your tip wilky29 This seemed to be the problem with our washing machine too. After emptying the cabinet of water we also had to tilt the washing machine a little for the switch to reset.

YESSS! tilting the machine was the answer to a water pump that never stopped pumping. The water in the bottom of the machine triggered the emergency procedure and would not stop until the sensors detect no more water. Thanks!

You have a leak in the machine and water is accumulating in the base pan. Most likely this leak is a manufacturing issue or a transportation issue. Check to see where the leak is coming from under the machine. If in warranty call the dealer.

I have an AEG Lavamat L 16850. It has stopped showing an EFO error code for the second time (on the 20 minute cycle both times). The first time I removed the fluff filter which seemed to solve the...

We have this problem for nearly 2 years now. It always occured in a special program ("Kochwäsche/Buntwäsche 60°" what means coloureds/boiled 60°).

The AEG technician didn't find the problem. Since we avoided that program, the problem never occured again.

But now, close before 2-years-warranty-by-law I demanded them again to repair it. I will report.

How to deactivate EFO on Lavamat 76819?

Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....

EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

Anti-flooding system has activated.

Tip washing machine towards you, water in bottom of machine will pour out, so be ready! Should work after that, mine did!
